After the loss Ben, Vincent, and 3-Jay gave congratulations to Madison, Lauren, and a few pats on the back to Karen.  Then they all sat down and ordered their meals.  After a short time Jack and Madison decided they wanted to get to know Ben's new family, since he seemed to be in a completely different frame of mind now that he wasn't around Amy, Ricky, Leo, Adrian, Omar, and the rest.  In all honesty they all realized that all of them seemed a bit more at ease without them around.

Jack: So Ben how did all of you guys meet?

Ben: It's okay Jack.  3-Jay and I met when I was living in Reno.  I was broke, down, on my luck, and kind of living on the street.  One day while I was getting a few supplies, he and his grandmother invited me for Thanksgiving, and gave me a job, and a place to stay.

Madison: Seriously, Ben you were homeless.  But you're rich.  Why didn't you just come back home?

Ben: To be honest with you Madison, I didn't feel like this place was my home anymore.  Even now it doesn't feel that way.

Lauren: But, Ben Leo is your dad, this is where you grew up.

Ben: Yeah, but it isn't where I belong.  At least not anymore.  That is what a home is a place where you fit in where you no you belong.  I don't feel like that now.  I haven't felt like that in a while.

Jack: You mean since Ricky, and Amy's marriage?

Ben: No, I stopped feeling like I belonged here before that.

Chloe: Really, how long?

Ben: Since my mom died.  When she died, I just kind of felt out of place I guess.  I thought it was grief, but it wasn't.  My mom was my anchor she was the one that made me feel..., myself.  When she died I kind of struggled to figure who I was after that.

Jack: I know the feeling after my Dad died, I was confused too.  But you still had your dad, and Henry and Alice.

Ben: Jack, you know my Dad now.  But after my mom died he was just as lost as I was.  Later he made me the center of his world,  I guess he was trying to cope with not having he around just like me.  As for Henry and Alice, they tried, but I don't think they really understood.  I think that was because even though we've known one another for years, we were never really as close as I thought we were.

Jack: Ben how could you say that?  You guys were like bosom buddies in high school, at least that what Alice told me.

Ben: Jack, after everything that happened in high school between the three of us, how could I not.

Jack: (realizes Ben was right all 3 separated in a way) I think I get it.

Madison: I don't?  I mean how could you three just stop being friends after everything.  I mean Lauren, I, and Amy went through a rough patch, but we're still friends.  Lauren, and I went through it just like you three.

Lauren: I don't think we're any different Madison.  I mean you and I stayed close, so did Henry and Alice, but in all honesty we're friends with Amy for show.

Madison: But still I hurt Lauren and she still forgave me.  Ben how come you can't forgive Henry and Alice.  You forgave Adrian.

Ben: Because I guess you and Lauren were real friends, I don't think Henry, Alice, and I were.  So I think we should just drop the subject.  (looks at his daughter and doesn't want her exposed to the root of their issues)

Madison: Maybe you're right.  So how did you meet Vincent?

Vincent: I saved his life. (acting a bit proud of that)
