Hello! I am bisexual, and my story isn't all that interesting, but I'll tell it to you anyways. I've known that I am attracted to girls since I was about 10 years old. However, until recently, I had no idea that one could be into both the opposite and same sex, so I was very confused when I started having feelings for a guy in my class. When I got to my high school, I learned about bisexuality from a friend who came out to me, and thereafter sorted out my confusion and came out. I now live in a (mostly) supportive community, and couldn't be happier.
For a long time, it was hard to be open about it, especially while my mom didn't know. It also took a while for me to accept myself, seeing as I had been told that being LGBT was wrong for most of my life.
Coming out was the hardest thing. I already have some social anxiety, which made it even scarier. I would be noticeably shaky, my hand would get clammy, and my breathing ragged.
Overall, the whole experience of coming out and being openly bi has made me see the world with a completely different perspective. I go about my life happy with who I am, and I can't really ask for much more than that.
