(Justin’s P.O.V)
My cheeks felt cold as my eyes fluttered open by the noise of the birds chirping. I covered my eyes with my hand as the sun rays attacked them.
I groaned as I rolled over at my back on the hard cement and gloomily sat straight up. Yes, I spent the night on the footpath. What else did you expect? Mom wouldn’t let me stay there; even if she would I’d not go there for what happened last night.
I saw two boys walking up the road towards me. They were talking to each other and didn’t seem to notice me. I rubbed my eyes as my view was blurry and I was as sleepy as hell. I stretched opened my eyes to look at those two boys, and the moment I recognized them I quickly got up and ran to the back on the nearest house I could see, jumping over the fences and the bushes. I found a spot behind the house, it was more like the water tank area. There was a huge tank of water in a room which was half made. Three walls of the room were made but one was left and I was hiding in that room. I shut my eyes, waiting for them to pass because they were very near very quickly.
After staying in that position while holding my hands for five minutes, having this satisfaction that they were gone, I finally exhaled the big breath I’d been holding.
“Finally” I whispered and stepped outside the room. The moment I stepped outside, I was faced with wide-eyed Ryan and Christian. “WHAT THE FUCK!?” I yelled stumbling back over my shoe. Christian and Ryan stayed in that position, staring at my drizzled and dirty clothes and messy hair.
“What” Ryan whispered.
“The” Chaz continued.
“Hell!” both of them yelled. I gave them a confused look, shaking my head and walking past them.
“What are you doing here looking like THIS?!” Christian asked as both of them followed me.
“I’m Justin Bieber, guys. You expect me to be all ‘goodie goodie’?” I said as I turned to the lane which lead to school.
“No but we expect you not to sleep on the footpath! Did something happen yesterday? Except for the stupid fight with Chaz?” Christian asked. I stopped and turned around to look at him.
“HE started the stupid fight” I muttered as I turned back and started walking again.
“Stop being so immature Justin! Stop acting like a kid!” Ryan said. I was about to give him a piece of me but I could hear Christian telling Ryan to shut up.
All of us stayed quiet for a while, knowing something was missing.
“Uhh, Justin?” Ryan asked. I turned around and looked at him.
“Where’s your bag?” Christian asked, examining me from top to bottom.
“Oh, shit!” I whined as I ran down the road towards my house with both of them following me.
“You should’ve stayed the night at your house, you idiot!” Ryan yelled.
“You don’t know what happened, you dumbass!” I yelled back. We ran for a couple of seconds till we finally reached my house.
“Go inside and get my bag” I whispered, trying to catch my breath. This running made me loose a lot of my breath.
“What do you mean by ‘Go inside and get my bag’?! Go get it yourself!” Chaz argued. All of us stood there, fighting about who would go inside and get my bag. I was never going inside. Don’t ask me.
Suddenly we were interrupted by the door opening. Our head snapped in the direction of the door from where mom came out and walked towards us, holding my bag. I looked at her and then at Ryan and Christian whose reflections most likely reflected mine.
“You forgot your bag” mom muttered as she handed it to me along with my lunch, turned around and went inside the house again. Ryan, Christian, and I stood there staring blankly at the door. Wondering what the hell just happened. All of us turned and looked at each other and started arguing again about how we should’ve gone inside and gotten the bag ourselves. It was a stupid thing to fight on though.
“OK OK! SHUT UP GUYS! Why are we fighting on this?!” I yelled, interrupting everyone.
“I have no idea” Christian muttered as Ryan nodded and both of them started walking. I rolled my eyes as I followed them.
“We’re late again” I muttered.
“Nothing new” Ryan nodded. I looked around, noticing Chaz was missing.
“Where’s Chaz?” I asked.
“Don’t know. He didn’t tell us but he left without us” Christian replied.
“Couldn’t face me, eh?” I smirked to myself. I heard Ryan gasp a bit and Christian was giggling.
“Uhh, not exactly” Ryan mumbled, I turned around to look at him as he struck his finger out, pointing at someone.
My gaze shifted from his finger to the person he was pointing at. It was Chaz talking to some girl.
“Who’s she- Oh shit! Is that Hareem?!” I nearly yelled.
“Shut up, Justin!” Christian muttered as he face palmed himself because Chaz had already noticed us. But what was he doing with Hareem? He never liked her or anything.
All of us walked over to them.
“Hey Chaz” I said. It was meant to be sarcastic but it came out more of a greet.
“Hey” Chaz muttered.
“Hareem” I looked over at her.
“Justin” she replied. We never really got along. I don’t know why. We just didn’t. Although she was a nice girl. And I don’t like nice girls.
“Is she the reason you’ve changed?” I asked, looking at Chaz, not caring about the fact that she was standing right next to us. And Chaz did the same.
“Yes, she is” he replied as he held her hand and walked off to school.
“What the fuck?” I muttered as I stepped in front to walk up to him and beat the crap out of him, but Ryan and Christian pulled me back.
“Don’t even think about it, Bieber” Ryan muttered as I shook my hands away from their grasp and stormed off to school.
I’ll deal with that bitch later.
Right when I entered school, surprisingly I wasn’t late.
“Awkward” I muttered as I walked inside. Some cheerleaders were blowing kisses at me as I winked at them, pouting at them. They giggled as I smirked and walked inside my class. Right when I entered my class, my gaze fell upon those blonde hair and blue eyes indulged in her book.
Her head shifted as she looked up at me and then back at her book, not caring that the hottest guy in school just entered the class mean while rest of the students made a group around me, asking me how was the basketball game and what so ever.
After answering a million question, I walked over to my desk which was next to Femke. I shoved it on purpose for her to notice me, but she just shrugged and continued reading her book.
“Fuck it” I whispered to myself as I threw my bag on the chair and plopped myself down. I looked over at her from the corner of my eye, still ignoring.
How the hell can someone ignore me?
Too self-centered, I know. I don’t care.
She hates me, I hate her. What was there to ask for? But now, when she didn’t want to talk to me, I wanted to hear the most from her. It was unusual for me. But it was real.
