(Femke's P.O.V)

I sat outside Ms. Pattie's room. Elbows resting on my knees and chin resting above my cupping hands. My knees jumped from impatience. Where was everyone? It had been 2 hours since I came out of her room and no one had shown up ever since. I started to worry and was growing impatience by each passing second. I called Hareem but she wouldn't pick up. I called Chaz and his number was off. I didn't wanna disturb Justin when he was finally getting along with his father.

Great. Just great!

This just gave me more chance to over- think stuff which I didn't want to. It was just going to lead to more misconceptions and more depression for me. I always avoid being alone. It just brings more addition to your already messed up, over-thinking brain. It just stresses you up more. Better have a company than messing your senses up.

"Femke!" I turned to my right and saw Mina walking on a fast pace in my direction. Her hand up, motioning towards me.

"Mina? What're you doing here?" I asked as she proceeded nearer.

"I couldn't resist coming here. I really wanted to visit you guys."

"Where's Sonia? You're not supposed to leave bed, Mina! You know that!" I scolded. She shook her head, smiling like a goof.

"Now what? You're gonna kick me out?"

"Where's Sonia?" I repeated my question in annoyance.

"She was right next to me when we entered the hospital. Now.." she turned around to look for her. Sonia was nowhere to be seen. "Now she's not." Mina returned to me, still wearing that creepy smile.

"Mina," I stopped, staring at her in completely shock. Was she serious? "Stop messing around. Are you serious? You lost a nineteen year old in a hospital?!"

"Exactly! She's a nineteen year old! She can take care of herself." Mina shook her hand in front of her in a 'chill' gesture and sat on the bench.

"Mina!" I scolded before groaning and walking out of the corridor at a fast pace.

As much as I loved Mina, she could be really careless at times. I like that about her, but in such crucial times she needs to be serious. We all do. Life isn't a joke and we aren't supposed to laugh at it all the time.

I ran down the stairs. One by one passing every step. I checked the waiting room. She wasn't there. I checked the washroom. She wasn't there. I checked the lobby. She wasn't there. And in the end, with no hope, I went to the parking lot.

My breathing pace was fast as I just ran a marathon in the whole darn hospital. Screw my breathing.

"Holy shit.." I muttered, quickly finding the nearest car and hiding behind it the moment I saw Sonia.

She was with Ryan.

Behind a bush.

Although, I couldn't really figure out what was going on. But it was something fishy. They're ex's! C'mon!
