(Chaz's P.O.V)
I saw Justin's mom from the window of her room's door. She laid on the bed in a fragile state. It was nearly impossible to survive in such a state. It was hard to believe she made it. How could she possibly do it? The accident she had in a state of pregnancy, and only one baby died? How was this even possible? It was obviously a miracle. It had to be a miracle.
It's going to be quite hard for the family to raise a kid with so many unanswered mysteries. Talk about when it finds out it lost a brother/sister.
Justin, on the other hand, was going to face a lot too. He already is. I never actually imagined this dude being this mature. I never imagined him actually asking for forgiveness from someone. I never thought he'd ever fall in love with someone. The way he's attached to Femke, it's unbelievable. I still don't see why he ever trusted what shit Anthony's friends said. It was stupid of Ryan to bring it up in the first place. He should've just let it go. Things like these aren't even supposed to be given any importance. They're supposed to be pushed away. But claiming his true love for Femke, Justin should've given Femke his complete trust.
I remember the day Justin found out Femke didn't cheat on him. He was crushed. Utterly broken. I never saw him like that before. I always saw him as a strong, rough and tough playboy who never gave any shit to anyones feelings. Who just played around with anything he wanted to. But Femke? What was that girl? That day, I saw a side of Justin that I never knew existed. He couldn't even control one tear. He kept repeating Femke's name and kept apologizing. It gave me goosebumps, to be honest.
"Chaz," I heard Femke's voice as I turned around and came face to face with her.
"Yeah?" I smiled at her when she did too.
She pointed her thumb to her backside, motioning towards something. My gaze followed her lead, eyes connecting with two figures that I never thought could interact in a humane way.
Jeremy and Justin were having a conversation.
"What the- h-how? Femke, you know he can't-"
"I know I know, chill out. I set it up. Trust me, it's all cool." she assured me, turning over her shoulder to look at them.
"How did you even do it in the first place?" I asked in awe. I really needed to know this. This was something none of us was able to do ever since Justin started having problems with Jeremy. What kind of spell was this girl using?
"It wasn't that hard, actually. I mean, it partially was but I managed to get him to listen to me. I guess he realized his own decisions only lead him to trouble." she pointed out, pressing her lips together and getting a glimpse of them from her back before turning back to me, her blonde silky hair sliding and flowing on her shoulders as she smiled at my confused and astonished expression. "What's with the constipated look?" she asked, giggling as she pointed at my face jokingly.
"It's hard to keep it in." I don't even know why I said that. Femke's expression turned surprised for a while, she stared at me, thinking she had heard me wrong which she obviously hadn't. It took her a while and she completely lost her expression and bursted out laughing.
"Did you just- oh my God!" she laughed aloud, trying hard to stop herself as she waved her hand in front of her face. "That's disgusting!"
"Alright, alright! It wasn't that funny." I shifted from one foot to another, grinning widely as I dug my hands in my pockets. My gaze shifted back to Justin and Jeremy for a while, the smile quickly coming back as I looked at Femke who was still laughing.
