(Justin's P.O.V)

I stood in the hospital's corridor. Right outside my mom's room. She was inside, so many needles hooked in her. Her face was pale and body was all lifeless. Her eyes closed and showed no sign of opening up. I could see her from the glass window. Her state put me in depression.

My once jolly and smiley mother could be in such a position? It made me so crushed. Every hope of happiness that I had just vanished. It was like all the positivity inside of me was crumbling.

My pale face had a continuous river of tears. I couldn't help the emotions. They were better let out than kept inside. I stared at her through the window, silently crying. Cursing myself for all those moments I let her suffer. All the times I didn't spend with her. All the times I put her through pain or didn't fight with Jeremy when he did. Beating myself mentally for ever letting her alone while I went to America. My trip never really won me anything. I came back empty handed and lost something special. I was the reason this accident happened. I'm such a trouble maker. It was a fact. I never really brought peace to anyone. Always a pain causer.

A hand laying on my shoulder made me tremble a bit.

"Chaz," I muttered, getting a glimpse of him as I turned my head back to the window. "Did the doctors say anything?"

"Yes," he said. I turned on my feet to look at him clearly, eyes showing deep interest. I was silently begging him to tell me what happened because his face showed me no sign of hope or good news. This was the first time ever since his breakup with Hareem that I had seen Chaz cry. His eyes were red and face was tear-stained. He shook a bit every time a sob escaped his mouth.

The leftover hope in me drowned in the pool of hopelessness. My insides which were rebelling for justice a while ago were now at complete silence as I waited for Chaz to drop the bomb.

"Chaz," my voice cracked like a whisper, "Don't make this any harder. Just tell me." I begged, partially closing my eyes to let the gathered tears out and prevent the rest from escaping.

"Justin, that accident, uh," Chaz stopped to wipe a few tears from his palm before sniffling and looking back at me. "It caused an awful incident. A horrible incident." he stopped at the end, taking a deep breath in.

My pulse rate increased and I started shaking at this point. Taking short breaths, I caught Chaz's arm to hold myself together. "Tell me. Now!" I yelled at the end, squeezing his arm in anger.

"Justin! Alright, I'm telling you!" he protested as I quickly let go of him.

What was I doing?

"Your mom- she was pregnant with twins. One child passed away in the accident." yet, he dropped the bomb.

It was like in a split of a second my heart had stopped beating. I couldn't hear anything around me. The world could be twisting or turning but all I could hear were the word's this guy in front of me had just spoken. The word's which ripped me into two.
