(Femke's P.O.V)
"Please," I heard his last sniffle before the voice of something sliding down the door was heard. Justin had place himself outside the door, in the opposite direction of me while I sat inside.
My fingers tightly wrapped around my tangled hair as I pulled all of them neatly to one side of my shoulders, covering my mouth to stop the sobs. My shoulders jumped from the cries, hands nearly digging in the material of my night suit pyjamas. I actually used to wish for him to show up, once. I used to die for the day when he'd finally come back, hold me in his arms and teach Anthony a lesson. Not that I didn't want it now, but it just wasn't of any use now. Anthony had gotten what he wanted. Anthony had won. I had lost.
I had so much faith in Justin. Much more than words can describe. It was just a trust to a whole new height. Such trust could be dangerous, and it was. It crushed every single light of hope in me, knowing Justin refused to trust me over Anthony. If I had heard of this before it all happened, I'd probably laugh it off since I was so sure Justin was going to trust me. A little too sure.
"Femke?" his angelic voice now, seemed so strange and unfamiliar. His voice broke at each syllable. "Please open this door, babe. That's all I'm aski-"
"Don't call me that." I murmured, loud enough for him to hear. "I was never your babe, Justin. I was never anything to you."
"No, no don't say that." I could hear him get up, placing his hands on the door as if it made us any closer because I knew that's all he longed for at the moment. "Don't ever say that. You know what you mean to me. You're all I have that makes me happy." I couldn't help that dry chuckle that left my mouth.
"You have a funny way of expressing it." I said, wiping away few tears. "I can't believe you'd choose to trust Anthony over your own girlfriend, me. What were you-"
"It's not like that. I'd never want you to think I didn't trust you. It's just - complicated."
"The same excuse every damn person gives. Get over it, Justin." I shook my head, digging my face more inside my hands. So much had been going on and this was just too much. The five months of hell I had been suffering was something that only I knew about. Only I could feel my pain. No one understood and it would be stupid if they said they did.
"Can you please at least give me a chance to explain?" he sounded frustrated.
"Explain what? I don't want an explanation, Justin. Leave,"
"No," he stated, "I am not going anywhere unless and until we talk." I sat in my position for a while. He seemed sure of his decision. I knew Justin well enough to know he could do any stupid thing he said he would.
"Please," I, instead, found myself begging. I didn't want to talk to anyone right now. As much as I was dying for Justin to hold me in his strong grip, knowing whatever I have been through and comforting me about it, I couldn't give in so easily. I just couldn't. "Just go," I whispered, my voice breaking due to the sobs.
