Stories, all kinds, can start on the most unexpected turn of life. You can be listening to songs, going through your Instagram news feed and suddenly see an account tagged in someone's uploaded picture's caption and something can be made out of that. You can be dialing your friend's number and the last digit can accidentally go wrong and something can be made out of that. You can be sitting on your bed, tears dripping down your cheeks, heart aching and heartbeat extremely fast from immense pain, feeling worthless, and one tweet or picture seen online in that condition, something can be made out of that. And stories never have purposely false endings. No story ever has a bad ending. One good change in us can make it the happiest of ever endings. Stories occur on a daily basis in our lives. We get attached in a minute to someone we weren't even thinking about barely an hour ago. And, as widely heard, some people come in our lives as blessings and some as lessons. So a wide majority come, and then they leave. Those are the people we are strongly attached to, and those are the people who will leave a scar on our hearts which will surely shed blood for a while, but through that crack a light will erupt, a light so bright, that the scars won't be able to be seen. But the light dims slowly when we let our negativity take over, when we start to believe that whatever happened to us had no meaning other than to leave us utterly broken. When we believe we lose friends and make mistakes only to invite further depression in our lives.

No. That is not the case.

There are such people which we imagine to go on the rest of our lives with them in it, as friends, lovers, whatsoever. We don't plan a moment without counting them in it. That's our- No, it isn't our mistake. I wouldn't call it that. Mistakes are those things which are meaningless, which create no emotions and definitely no regrets. The feelings which make us regret certain things or reminisce over them or feel bad about them also have great meanings in our lives.

Have you not noticed how even a tiny mistake can cause such big changes in our lives? How a simple, tiny, unnoticeable hello can turn out to be the biggest, hardest, and the most horrifying goodbye of our lives? Would you call that 'hello' a mistake? You shouldn't. It's that 'hello' which changes us, for the good or bad, and that change can change someone else in our life, and someone else in that someone else's life. See, this is the cycle of life, you shouldn't regret over anything. You should always take that regret and mold it into something better, into not repeating a certain thing that caused you pain only because you don't want to suffer than again. But just know, that 'mistake' of yours caused changes, good or bad. And you don't necessarily have to be there for the other person to make sure their change is good only because you love or care about them. No. If you want their change to be good, pray. Pray for them. And leave the rest to God.

I don't know when or how, but I gained trust in God. Yes, I did. Femke De Keyser trusted God. Finally. I don't know but it happened somewhere in the process of gaining and losing my parents and Justin, it happened somewhere in the process of that experience with Anthony. It happened somewhere in the process of having my girls, Mina, Hareem, and Sonia in my life, followed by Ryan, Chaz, and Christian.

It happened. Breaking my heart, crushing me mentally and emotionally, ruining what I was, it happened. But it also made me, it broke me and made it. It made the Femke I couldn't think of in my wildest dreams. Out of the Caterpillar came to view a Butterfly. And I? I thank God. I believe God.

This Butterfly, before it even came to view so basically that Caterpillar, left home. It moved and traveled and explored before it even realized it was capable to do so. It became the Butterfly it had to with the help of the outside world, the world it barely knew even existed. And the moment it flung his wings and flew freely, it flew for 6 years. It flew and flew and enjoyed every second of the wind crashing on it, it sunk it in and let it be a fuel for her to strive more. For 6 years, it refused to look back. Till it knew it was strong enough to face it all without falling for it again, and instead fly over it.
