1950s AU where Kamasaki is a greaser and you are his girlfriend!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you stood in front of your mirror, examining your outfit, you heard the sound of a few motorcycles outside your house. With a quiet squeal of excitement, you grabbed your bag and ran downstairs to leave your house. Once you were outside, you were greeted with a wonderful sight.
Your boyfriend put the stand down on his motorcycle to hold it in place before getting off of it and approaching you. "Hello there, my gorgeous (f/n)," he greeted you, taking your hand in his and kissing it before pressing his lips against yours.
You smiled when he pulled away, and you ran your hand through his blonde hair, making a smile form on his own lips. He took note of your outfit while you examined his. He wore a white t shirt underneath his favorite leather jacket, along with a pair of jeans and boots.
"It's not like we have anywhere to go. Please do take your time," an annoyed voice sounded from behind your boyfriend. One of his friends sighed loudly as he adjusted himself atop his motorcycle and took a drag from the cigarette in his hand.
"Shut the hell up and put that damn thing out before you blow us all up," Kamasaki barked at him. Futakuchi hesitated before obeying and putting the cigarette out. "Now let's get going, baby," he said to you as he led you over to his motorcycle, "Hold on nice and tight."
You wrapped your arms around him tightly and pressed the side of your face into the back of his shoulder, feeling the leather from his jacket against your skin. He and his friends started up their motorcycles and headed off to your favorite diner.
Upon arrival, Kamasaki and his gang parked their motorcycles before heading inside. The diner was packed and vivacious, teeming with young teenagers and their friends or dates. The music from the jukebox played happily in the background, attracting a few teens to it to dance.
You followed Kamasaki as he took your hand in his and led you to a booth with the rest of his friends. "How ya been, princess?" he asked you as he sat down next to you and slung his arm around your shoulders, making you blush, "Nobody's been giving you any trouble, right?"
You hesitated and shrugged as you avoided his eyes. "Well, there's been one guy who bothers me when I walk home from school, and I don't know who he is since he's not in any of my classes," you admitted quietly, making your boyfriend lean closer to you so that he could hear you over the music and the loud voices of everyone else in the diner.
Kamasaki's face fell into a scowl as he glared down at the table in front of you two. "What has he been doing to you?" he asked. You were about to respond, but the waitress interrupted for drink orders. "Soda pop for me and a (favorite drink) for the lady," he requested coolly. He then turned his attention back to you and watched you carefully. "Go on, baby; I'm listening."
"He just hollers out embarrassing things at me and hits on me inappropriately, and it makes me feel uncomfortable," you explained.
Kamasaki grumbled and pressed his face against your neck before planting a gentle kiss there, as well as another one near your ear. "I'll sort him out, so don't you worry about a thing, (f/n). What does the punk look like?"
You listed without hesitation, "He's tall and lanky, he wears black shirts and rolls up the sleeves, and he's kinda bald and has crazy eyes. I don't like him at all." You shuddered just thinking about him, and your boyfriend held you tighter before placing another kiss against your cheek.
He soon pulled away from you and faced his group of trusty friends. "Hey, do any of you know of a tall and bald punk that hangs out around our school? He's been bothering my girl," he announced, looking from Futakuchi to Aone, and finally resting his eyes on Moniwa.
"Who? You mean that guy over there?" Futakuchi asked and pointed across the diner. You and Kamasaki both turned to look and saw the boy who'd been bothering you for the past few weeks. He was laughing raucously along with a shorter guy with a blonde patch in the front of his hair and a calmer guy with dark hair and eyes. All of them wore vests with a crow printed on the back.
When he noticed the two of you staring at him, he smirked and approached the booth. He placed his hands on the table and eyed you shamelessly, chuckling with self-satisfaction. "Well, well, well! I didn't think I'd see my little honey here tonight? Wanna come and dance with me?" he suggested with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
Kamasaki's blood boiled with rage as he stood up and challenged the boy, using his height advantage to tower over him. "Why don't we go outside and have a little talk first?" he ordered as he patted the boy's shoulder roughly and started walking outside.
You felt worry knot in your stomach as you watched the two of them head for the back door before disappearing outside, into the night. You looked nervously at the other boys sitting across from you, and they tried to assure you that everything would be fine, but you bolted from the table and rushed outside.
Once you opened the door and looked around, you quickly spotted your boyfriend and the other guy yelling and snarling at each other as they fought viciously. They reminded you of a pair of savage dogs as they lunged at each other, punching, kicking, pushing, and shoving.
Eventually, the guy who'd been bothering you managed to separate himself from Kamasaki before rushing back inside the diner to safety. Kamasaki tried to chase after him, but you held him back and gently pushed him away from the door as you inspected his injuries.
"Stupid Karasuno bastard! I'm really gonna get him next time," Kamasaki growled as he wiped some blood away from his nose.
"Please don't stoop down to his level, Yasushi," you said quietly as you pulled a tissue out of your bag and wiped the blood away from a scratch on his face, "You're so much better than he is."
"But—"
"Please."
There was a long silence as the two of you watched each other closely. You noticed him let his guard down slightly, and his shoulders relaxed as he breathed out a long sigh and kicked a small rock lying on the ground.
"He doesn't matter to me at all, so don't let him interfere with our relationship," you told him softly.
He looked into your eyes, making your heart flutter in your chest. As you inspected the red marks on his face, and the cuts and scrapes, you remembered that soft spot you'd felt for him when you'd first met him. Your parents hadn't liked him because of the way that he was and his aggressive nature, but you trusted him not to hurt you, and he hadn't broken his promises. You really did love him more than anything else, even if he was a bit of a rebel and a troublemaker.
You placed your hand on the side of his face as he pressed his forehead against yours. You then wrapped your arms around his neck and gave him loving kisses that he reciprocated ardently.
"I'm just so protective of you because I love you, (f/n), and I don't want anyone to hurt you," he told you, his voice taking on a tender tone that always made you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
"I know, and I love you too, Yasushi." You smiled and kissed him again, giggling when he lifted you up off the ground and spun you around.
"Let's get back inside and have some fun, okay, baby?" he suggested with a bright smile. You nodded happily and walked back inside the diner with him to spend an entertaining night with him and his friends.
