AU in which you're a tattoo artist (and just artistic in general)

This is my first time writing this little snake boy so let me know if his character is okay
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Amidst the sound of the tattoo guns whirring, you heard your freshly tattooed client groan with what seemed to be dismay. You raised an eyebrow at the man as he got up out of the chair he'd been lying in for a solid hour and a half and scowled at the wrapped tattoo on his leg.
Feeling your stomach knot with anxiety, you rolled your chair over towards him and asked, "Sir, is everything okay...?"
His disapproving gaze quickly moved from your work of art to your (e/c) eyes, making your heart beat faster with nervousness. "No, everything is not okay! You did a horrible job!" he growled, shoving his tattoo in your face so you could get a better look, "This is not at all what I wanted!"
Feeling slightly less nervous and a little more irritated, you removed your gloves and brushed a few (h/l) strands of hair away from your face before retrieving the original drawing of the tattoo. "Sir, you agreed with this design and said you wanted it done on your leg, which is what I did. Forgive me, but I don't see the issue here," you informed him as nicely as possible.
"That is beautiful. What you tattooed on me isn't! They don't look at all the same! Because of that I don't even want to pay you," he argued, narrowing his eyes at you and crossing his arms in front of his chest.
Before you had the opportunity to go off on him, you noticed a figure appear next to him and put a hand on your angry customer's shoulder.
"Excuse me, sir; I couldn't help but notice your displeasure with my girlfriend's work, here, and I wanted to talk to you about it. Do you mind?"
Despite the fact that you'd been rolling up your sleeves and preparing to fight your customer, you couldn't help but smile at seeing your boyfriend sticking up for you. He was so kind he was manipulative, and even though you hated that about him in certain situations, you loved that about him now.
"Okay, then. Explain to me why I shouldn't be angry," the man challenged.
A sly smile crept into Daishou's face at the opportunity to win an argument and you could practically see the sneaky look in his eyes. "Well, from my perspective, (f/n)'s tattoo looks exactly like what she drew out for you on paper. I mean, it's a spitting image," he began, holding up the paper to the man's leg so everyone could see the accuracy with which you did your job. "Also, based on what I know about my girlfriend, she most likely confirmed with you multiple times that this design was correct and that you wanted to go through with the tattoo, yes?"
The man pursed his lips and nodded, knowing that what Daishou was saying was true and he couldn't deny it. Seeing this made you bite your lip to contain the smirk you felt creeping onto your face.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason why you're mad is because you realized at some point during the process that you either didn't want this design or you didn't want the tattoo at all," Daishou continued, watching the man patiently and waiting for an answer. Your customer simply sighed in return, his face showing a look of defeat. "Sir, even though you aren't happy with your decision, I can assure you that that's no reason to get angry with (f/n). She's a very diligent and hard-working artist who's very passionate about what she does, and she at least deserves some respect. Besides, that tattoo isn't bad. It's pretty cool, actually."
Your customer nodded understandingly and apologized to you before fishing the appropriate amount of money out of his wallet to pay you for your work. Once he'd thanked you and had left the shop, you turned your attention to your boyfriend and smiled brightly at him. "Thank you."
"Anything for you, my love," Daishou simpered as he brushed his dark hair to the side and placed his hands on your waist, pulling you closer so that he could press a kiss against your lips. You returned his kiss until his hands moved down towards your butt and you pushed him away.
"Save it for later, Suguru," you grumbled as you tried to hide your smile.
"Oh, does that mean I should be expecting a more fitting reward when we get home?" he wondered and wiggled his eyebrows.
Whether it was because you'd had a long day or because you'd just gotten yelled at by a customer for no reason, your boyfriend's comment hit a nerve. "Do you always come to my defense in hopes of getting what you want in return?" you snapped at him unexpectedly, surprising the both of you.
There was an uncomfortable silence while you started preparing for the tattoo you were about to give him. As you sifted through the papers on your desk to find the picture you'd drawn for him, you felt his arms wrap around your waist from behind and his head come to rest on your shoulder.
"That's not the case at all, (f/n), but I'm sorry it seems that way," he apologized and pressed a gentle kiss against your cheek, "I defend you because you're an amazing person and artist and I know how much time you devote to your job. If I didn't appreciate your work I wouldn't get a tattoo every time I come to visit. You don't deserve to be knocked down or belittled by anyone so I'll always defend you if anyone does that to you since I love and appreciate you so much."
You felt your heart flutter in your chest at his kind words and you turned around to face him so you could give him a loving kiss. "I love you too. Sorry I snapped at you like that."
"It's okay. You've had a long day, I imagine, but don't worry. Take your time with me. I'm very patient, as you know by now," he responded and ran his hand through your (h/c) hair.
"I think your patience is more a case of you being too lazy to move or make a fuss."
"You know me so well."
The two of you chuckled before he sat down in the chair and made himself comfortable. Once you'd gotten all of your tools ready, you sat down in your stool next to him and pressed the stencil you'd made against his arm.
"Another snake for the snake?" you inquired jokingly when you noticed he'd requested yet another snake tattoo.
"Mhm. I think we both know how much you love snakes, if you know what I mean," he implied sneakily, giving you a seductive look.
"Keep your voice down! You're so naughty!" you hissed at him as your face burned with embarrassment.
He snickered at your reaction and planted a kiss on your cheek when you turned your head to prepare your tattoo gun, making you blush even harder. "I love you, (f/n)."
As you turned your attention back to him and looked into his eyes, which were trained on you, you couldn't help but smile brightly. "I love you too, Suguru."
