"Sally?" Maggie called while coming down the hallway towards the stairs. Maybe sally's waiting down stairs. I hope she doesn't think I am crazy. I need to start afresh and hopefully I can build up some office experience at Jason's company.

When Maggie reached the bottom of the stairs, Sally was no where to be found, she even check the kitchen counter and the fridge to see if Sally left a note behind. Maggie decided that it was best to call Sally rather, then for her to find out later. Maggie tried three times already, Sally's mobile kept ringing. Maybe she already left for work Maggie thought. Let me bath and then think about how Sally might react about my plans.

Once both Jason and Maggie were done bathing, they left in the direction of the coffee shop. Maggie was so nervous; she didn't even realize that they stopped at the shop a few minutes ago already.

'Breathe' was all she kept thinking. Surely they had to know she wasn't going to spend the rest of her life working as a waitress. Then again; maybe that's what they thought. she had been there for more than eight years; she was part of the furniture they would joke.

She never felt this nervous about a job. It wasn't even as if she was being interview. She should never have listened to Jason, to come in a give them a minutes notice. She should have been the coward and just emailed them her resignation letter.

Jason reached over and moved a strand of hair out of the way. The gentle gesture actually woke Maggie up from her daydream.

"Come on Maggs, we've standing here for nearly ten minutes already. There's no reason to be scared. I will be right there next to you to hold your hand". Jason said in the gentlest manner. Maggie huffed in frustration but eventually moved towards opening the car door. Jason held the door open for Maggie to enter first. Maggie's feet felt if there was led bolted to it, it felt heavy.

"I'll wait for you out here unless you want me to go with you." Jason turned to look at Maggie. She really looked terrified, his heart constricted with compassion for her. He promised himself that he would be her everything. She was everything to him. She looked as if she was about to step into hell. Her tiny hands were shaking so bad that I just grabbed hold of them to try and soothe her nerves.

"Don't worry Maggs, I will be right by your side and if they give you hell, just remember I could buy this coffee shop and you could give them hell instead." He joked.

It was times like these that made Maggie remember the business mogul she was dating, he could be ruthless when it came to anything business, she knew that it was the way it should be, and the business world was a cut throat world.

Maggie and Jason went towards the manager's office, after a few knocks they both entered. It didn't take that long for Maggie to say what she needed to say and soon they were both out the door.

Maggie didn't get a chance to speak to Sally she just left a note in Sally's locker explaining that she would call her later to explain.

"You want to get something to eat; we didn't exactly have food for breakfast"

Jason asked while giving Maggie one of those rare full blasted, golden smiles, causing a deep shade of red to cast over Maggie's cheeks.

"Keep your eyes on the road mister". Seat please swallow me in Maggie silently begged. She didn't expect Jason to bring up their love making. She'd rather not speak about it. Those types of conversations made her uncomfortable.

After driving for a while to the point of where Maggie nearly fell asleep. She heard Jason announce their arrival. She sat up further in her seat and turned to look out the window. The sight that lay before her was more than just beautiful, it was pulchritudinous. she knew Cape Town was known for its beauty but this was just exquisite. She forgot that she suppose to exit the car until Jason opened the door edging her to get out. She got out the car and the salty smell that suffocated her nostrils was like anything she ever smelled. It was perfect. Even though she and Sally would regularly visit the beach she had never been this side of Cape Town yet.
