A/N
I'm so glad you guys like me. I was so worried you'll think I'm ugly but you guys boosted up my confidence. Thank you so much. Here's the chapter that was supposed to be up on Sunday. Enjoy!Ben has been worrying about me a lot. Ever since I got attacked, he's been giving me a bunch of stuff to make sure I'm happy. He even got me a phone. I'm happy, but I don't want him to spend too much on me.
Let him be. You're the closest thing he's got to a child. You were his child ever since he gave you your first candy bar. Ever since his ex wife took his son.
"Mitch, I thinking about getting a cat. What do you think?" Ben asked me as we walked out of Starbucks.
"I think it'll be fun having an animal in the apartment. I'm always out and I kinda feel bad. We should get a cat." I answered quietly so no one but Ben could hear.
Ben then grabbed my arm and he ran to his car, practically dragging me there. We drove to the pet shelter thing, whatever you call it, and we started looking for a cat. Well, a kitten. We wanted the little guy for as long as we can.
Emergency meeting!!!
"What happened?!"
Just gather everyone up. Please, just stop whatever you're doing.
"NO. Just tell me what's up!"
I need everyo-
"Just tell me!"
NO. I will not tell you. I need the others. Please. It an emergency.
"Ben, I have to go. I'm sorry. I really am."
"It's fine. Just tell me where to drop you off."
"You sure you'll be okay?"
"Yeah. Now, where are we going?"
At Scott's House
I thanked Ben as I got out and I ran to the front door. I knocked on it once and the door slammed open. Scott grabbed my arm and pulled me in, looking around outside before closing the door.
"Were you being followed by a black van?" Scott asked, sounding worried.
I shook my head and he let out a relieved sigh.
"Why would someone follow me?" I asked him.
"I just found out that the guy's enemy is on earth. They're killing all of the guy's friends' subjects. They're last target is us five. Where is everyone anyway?" He rushed.
The three of them are pulling up. Open the door and make sure you don't see that black van.
I got up and opened the door, signaling the rest to run in. Once they were in, I looked around and quickly closed the door, locking it.
"What's up? Why're we here?" Kevin asked, confused.
Scott began explaining everything to them when we heard someone banging on the front door. Scott put his finger up to his lips and motioned us to his room. He grabbed a bat and told us to stay in here.
