Mitch's POV

After the reunion with Kevin, he decided to get some rest so Scott let him nap in his room. Scott's dad has to go to work and Avi went out on a walk. I guess and Scott and I are alone.

We sat down on his couch and stayed in his silence before he spoke. "I've missed you. I thought I'd never see you again."

"I've missed you so much. Even though I don't remember being dead for months, I still missed you when I was alive afterwards." I responded. He smiled and pulled me in a hug.

We pulled away slightly, only enough to face each other. Damn it, I'm lost in his eyes again. He started to lean in and I panicked. It was gonna be my first kiss.

We were centimeters apart before I started to think again. He had a boyfriend. I can't be the reason for them to break up.

"Scott, stop." I told him, moving away.

He looked at me with confused and hurt eyes. "What? Why?"

"You have a boyfriend. I can't be the problem in your relationship with him. I'm sorry but I can't." I said before getting up and walking to the kitchen.

As I entered, I heard wings flapping and saw Castiel and Kirstie in front of the fridge. "I retrieved all of you. I was actually successful." Castiel smiled and he looked proud of what he did. Kinda like a puppy excited to go outside for the first time.

I smiled at him and ran to Kirstie. "Mitch, am I alive? Or is this some kind of sick joke because I'm really emotional right now." She asked, almost to the point of crying.

I hugged her and felt her tense up a bit. "It's real. You're here with us. Castiel brought you back." I whispered. Kirstie sighed happily and hugged back.

A few moments later, Scott came in and hugged Kirstie after me. I stood in front of Castiel and he stuck his hand out.

"What're you doing?" I asked him.

"I saw that family members hug a lot and I was wondering what friends do to greet each other. I asked my angel friend and he said that human friends shake hands. So I want to shake your hand so I can know that I'm your friend." He explained, still holding his hand out. He looked so happy about having a, I guess, human friend.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug. I heard him mumble "What?" before hugging back. We pulled away and he looked so confused.

"I thought I was your friend? Why'd you hug me?" He asked, sounding really confused. He looked like a lost puppy.

"You're not our friend. You're our family. We're a family all together." Kirstie said. She hugged Castiel and he smiled.

"Yeah, family. Well, while you guys are talking about being family, I'll go ahead and talk to my actual dad who is actually my family." Scott said bitterly. He glared at me the whole time.

"Scott? Why're you saying that?" Kirstie yelled.

"I'm just sticking with genetics here. My dad and I are an actual family while you guys are a bunch of loners. This 'family' you're talking about is just some trick your brains are making to make you not an emotional mess." He walked out of the kitchen a into his room. I heard him yell at Kevin to get out of it.

Kevin came in and hugged Kirst and I. The two of them were crying in my shoulder while I tried comforting them. Castiel was already gone before I could see his reaction.

I'm not really gone. Just physically.

"Are you okay?"

No.

I moved all of us to the couch and they continued to cry. Avi came in and looked confused. Let's face it, everyone is confused. "What's wrong?"

I gestured Avi to come and hug Kirstie. He tilted his head so I just mouthed "I'll talk to you later" to him. He nodded and hugged Kirstie. I felt tears dripping down my face before I started to sob. I'm sorry Avi.

A Few Hours Later

We all finally calmed down. Avi was overjoyed that our crying session ended because he honestly looked like he was about to burst.

"Okay, now that we're calm, can someone please tell me what happened while I was gone!" He asked desperately. We all nodded.

"So, Castiel brought me back from my lonely heaven and I was kinda confused because the first place he brought me to was a kitchen. Then I realized we were in a house of one of you guys because Mitch came in. We all hugged before Scott decided to join. I thought he was okay, but when we started to talk to Castiel about family, he flipped out. He said that we aren't a family and that we are just a bunch of loners. Something happened before I came that really made him mad. I don't know what it was, but it made him furious." Kirstie explained. Avi frowned.

"What could've triggered it?" Avi asked.

"I think I know. Scott and I were about to do something before I stopped him. It was too risky to do and I could tell that he really wanted to do it." I told them.

"What were you guys planning to do?" Kevin asked.

"You guys know how I have a huge crush on him. And how much I've wanted him to kiss me. Well today, we almost did that but I told him not to because he was dating Alex." I said.

"That's why he's so bitchy? Because his crush said no to a kiss?" Kirstie yelled.

"W-wait, crush? W-what do you mean?"

"Honey, you two are oblivious. You guys are Avi-ously in love with each other but the problem is Alex. I'm not saying he's a bad person, but he's breaking up my ship!"

"First of all, I don't like how you used my name and second of all, you and Scott were meant to be. All of us could see it. But you're right. Scott should stay faithful to Alex because they're dating and he's been there for him."

"I don't like that it's right. The moment I saw you two together, I wanted to take my non-existent phone out and film everything. Maybe make it into a documentary. The Gay Yin and Yang."

We all burst out laughing at Kevin's joke. I think we annoyed Scott but he deserves it. I still love him though. I'll never hate him.

Awe! Even when he was a dick to you guys, your heart still stays with him. That's adorable.

"He wasn't a complete dick. He had the right to be mad."

But he was still mean.

"We should shut up now. We wouldn't want to wake the diva up."

We giggled before talking about more things. I love when we talk. Though, Scott's always absent.
