A couple nights ago I was having terrible nightmares that would wake me up and when I tried to sleep one more time I had this dream where I was blind and my crush gave me his sight. I woke up with tears all over my face... So I thought I should spread the tears to you all ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

The other nightmares consisted of King Kong chasing me through a random 10 story high hotel (with an amazing beach view btw) so it was either this or a giant ape chasing you...

The darkness is all you know, all that you see. Sometimes you would wish to be able to see what others see. You gave up on that dream years ago.

Without your sight all your other senses where sharper than people with sight. You trusted your hearing and touch but your parents wanted you to be safer and have a guide dog. Having no sight made it very difficult for you to get friends, kids would always pick on you so you never did get friends. Except... Two boys...

Walking with your trusted guide dog, (Dog Name), to your usual spot by the beach, you could hear the birds chirping. When you reached your spot, your dog laid down next to you. Everyday you would go to the beach and sit on the bench that your parents once took you to. The memory is still fresh in your mind.

~Flashback~

"Where are we going?..." You held your mother's hand tightly so that you wouldn't lose her.

"It's a surprise." Your father said with his happy tone.

Your (Hair Color) hair started to flow with the gentle breeze and a special kind of smell hit your nose.

"We're here." Your mother chimed and helped you sit on a bench.

You moved your head side to side, listening to the splashing and children laughter. "It sounds so nice and... Happy..." You smiled.

"We took you by the ocean." You father said and petted your hair.

"The ocean?" you knew what the ocean was, but was never taken near it, "Is it really?"

Your mother put her arm around your small shoulder, "Yes, can you hear the splashing?" you nodded, "Those are the waves hitting against the pier."

"We're near... The pear..." You mumbled to yourself and tried to imagine how it would look like. Listening closely to the chats from adults and teens, you took pieces from those noises and put them together into an image. You pointed to your right, "On the right is the pier... And right next to us... Is an ice cream cart..." You smiled.

"Are you trying to tell us something?" Your father chuckles, you giggle, "We'll buy you some."

~End of Flashback~

Ever since then you wished to see the ocean. Your parents would tell you about all the things that live in it and how beautiful the sunsets are.

"May I have a seat?" You quickly turned to where the voice came from. You knew very well who it was and smiled.

"Ah, Kaneki," you pat the empty space on the bench, "You're always welcomed to sit."

"Thanks." He sits and watches the bright blue sky. "Here again?"

"Yup," you quietly listen to everything around you like always.

"You know we became childhood friends because of Hide, right?" He asks and laughs. "You two sure looked close when he introduced me to you..."
