Stay With Me: Jefflyn

Katelyn yawned, adjusting slightly as she rested her head on Jeffrey's shoulder and ran her fingers through Abby's hair. She ended up falling asleep at Jeffroy's house during the night and woke up in his bed between the man she loved and the little girl she cherished, something which she wished she could wake up to every morning. She sucked in a breath, wriggling her arm out from under Abby's head before getting into a sitting position in the Queen Sized bed. Making sure to be cautious the girl crawled to the foot of the bed and climbed off of it. Once she reached the edge of the bed she crossed the room, heading out of the bedroom, down the hall, and into the kitchen.

She wasn't the best cook, but if there was one thing she could make it was French Toast. Something she knew both Jeffory and Abby enjoyed. It was what they ordered whenever they went to IHop anyways. Katelyn rummaged through the fridge grabbing out the bread, eggs and milk, before going to the cupboard pulling out some vanilla. It was a simple meal and was something her dad taught her to make when she was younger. Which seeing how his father wasn't the best cook either likely explained her struggle to make a bunch of different meals.

Katelyn was in the middle of cooking the French Toast when Jeffory walked out of his bedroom, rubbing his eyes. His hair was a mess around his head, and his eyes were droopy from sleep as he stumbled to the table and sat down.

"Good morning, Katelyn."

"Morning, Jeffory." Katelyn said, a slight blush forming on her face. "Sorry I passed out last night..."

"It's quite alright, Katelyn." He smiled, "I always enjoy your company."

Katelyn smirked, "Careful or I might not leave." She teased.

"Why don't you?"

"What?"

Jeffory stood up, "Don't leave. STay here, live here with me and Abby. She loves having you here and I... I do too... Plus you're looking for a new place to live, aren't you?" He said, walking over to her making her blush as she looked away from him.

"Y-yeah, I-I mean Kawaii-Chan is moving with Cadenza and Lucinda and Aphmau is moving in with Aaron..."

"Then live here, Katelyn. Live here and if it bothers you, you can just say it's until you get on your feet. But, if you wanted it could be permanent. I know I wouldn't mind."

"I=I'll think about it." Katelyn promised, though she already knew her answer. She would love to live with Jeffory and Abby. But she had to figure some other things out too.
