It was Christmas Day and while all her friends couldn't wait to open all their presents while the only present she really cared about was coming with her brother. She stared out the window of the store where all her friends were going to be coming for their Christmas party. Everybody was there except Laurence, Garroth, Dante, and Travis. They had run into some traffic on the way and would be a little late. Though, that wasn't why she was so worried. She was worried because of a bad feeling that had been gnawing at the back of her mind.

Cadenza sighed, feeling more and more nervous about the situations she felt likely wouldn't be happen which just made her feel worse and worse about what could possibly be bringing on such a feeling into her. Still though she couldn't shake the feeling. The feeling though, did get weaker when the four boys walked in, covered in white flakes of snow both wearing the jackets she made them.

She ran to her brother, hugging him tightly. "You made it!"

"Yeah." Laurence hugged her back, "Sorry it took so long we were washing our jackets and they weren't drying right. We have to have somebody come look at our Clothes Dryer."

"I'm just glad you made it here safe. That's all that matters to me." She promised, kissing his cheek.

"Yeah, and I brought you something." Laurence said, reaching into his pocket and holding it up.

Cadenza's face lit up when she saw the necklace, it was a golden plated necklace with a teal colored stone in the center of it which dangled on a golden chain. She had seen it before in New Meteli when they had been there to check on their dad but he had been too distressed to buy anything. But Laurence had managed to remember that she had wanted it and got it for him.

She jumped into his arms, hugging him as tightly as she could with a large smile."Laurence! You remembered! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"No problem, sis." Laurence said, running his fingers through her hair. "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas, little brother."
