Aphmau felt desperate as she looked around for her dog Celeste, who had vanished sometime in the night. She was worried sick, her baby was missing and she had been looking all over the place for her! The more places she checked the more worried she became for her dog.

"Celeste? Celeste, come here girl." Aphmau called, standing at the top of the stairs, before she turned and went to Katelyn's bedroom door. She gave it a soft tap then opened the door. "Katelyn, is Celeste in here with you?"

"Celeste? No, she's not. Why?"

"I can't find her. She went to bed last night but when I woke up she was gone!" Aphmau explained, rubbing her eyes as she tried to fight off tears. "I've checked everywhere, Katelyn..."

Katelyn frowned, "I'll help you look around the house. If we can't find her here we'll go check with the others and then the shelters. Okay? We'll find her, Aphmau, I promise."

"T-thanks, Katelyn." Aphmau said, becoming more worried that her small dog had gotten hurt by another dog, or a cat, or that she could have gotten hit by a car! Aphmau quickly shook her head, trying to get the thoughts out of her head. "I-I'll start in my room."

"Okay, then I'll start in the basement." Katelyn smiled, patting Aphmau's head before she made her way down the stairs.

Aphmau once again checked her bedroom, her closet, her bathroom, and even went so far as to check in her clothes hamper. There was still no sign of Celeste. Aphmau then checked Katelyn's room, Kawaii-Chan's room, the bathroom between the two bedrooms, and that clothes hamper as well.

Aphmau could feel tears forming again as she became more and more worried. Celeste had never been the type of dog to hide from her, let alone run away. But even if she did run away her friends would have called Aphmau to tell them, but there had been no word from her friend either. The fact that this was the case made her feel sicker by the second.

Once the upstairs was cleared, Aphmau went down to the main floor where Katelyn was looking under the couch in the living room.

"Did you find her?" Asked Aphmau.

"No. But Vylad's not down in his room either though, so may be he took her on for a walk and forgot to tell you. I'm sure she's fine, Aphmau. If she's anything like you she's tougher than she looks."

"T-thank you, Katelyn."

"Don't worry about it. Let's keep looking."

"Okay, I'm going to check outside." Aphmau said quietly, then walked to the back door and opened it. She walked over to the pool first, hesitating before she peeked in, the idea of seeing Celeste in the bottom making her sick, but when she saw nothing Aphmau relaxed. She turned, about to call her dog when she saw Vylad sitting behind the tree near the hedge.

Aphmau walked over to Vylad, peeking around the tree about to ask if he had seen the missing dog when she saw that the husky was laying next to him. The two weren't alone though, no, in fact there were four little black, white, and brown creatures wriggling near her stomach.

"Are those puppies?! W-what?! Since when?! B-but. I... Vylad! Explain!"

Vylad chuckled and shrugged, "No idea. I woke up early and heard her scratching at the back door to go to the bathroom. So I came out with her and when I saw she was acting weird I sat down and began to pet her. Next thing I know she has a puppy... I'm sorry I didn't get you, but I thought that it would be best if I stayed with her..."

"N-no. That's okay, I'm glad you stayed with her." Aphmau said, sitting next to Celeste, petting her. "Thank you Vylad, this sure is a surprise."

"You're telling me." He laughed.
