The wait was likely the worst part of being in the Emergency Room, that and the fact that nobody was allowed to go back with Laurence because none of them were considered "Family" even though he basically begged for them to let them in all the nurses refused. So now Laurence was waiting impatiently on an examination table with nothing better to do but watch the Heart Monitor in hopes that it would take his mind off of the pain in his leg.

"Laurence Zvahl?" A doctor said, walking through the curtain and looking at Laurence. He looked him over as though judging the teenage boy on if he was going to be trouble or not.

"Y-yes sir." Laurence said, the pain in his leg seeming to hurt even more now that his attention was off the monitor.

"Well, I got good news and bad news. The good news is that nothing is broken." Laurence looked down at his leg which was swollen and bruised, "Your leg did suffer a pretty severe sprain though and will need to be rested for about two weeks, too much use of it could cause permanent damage to it."

"But... I'll be okay?"

"Yep. Alternate between ice and heat and you'll be fine." He promised, "I'm going to have my nurses get you a brace and crutches." He explained, "We contacted your Father, who is your emergency contact and he said he's paying for all the bills so don't worry about the money, just rest at home."

Laurence hated when he was in debt to people, especially his Family and Friends. it was so hard to pay them back for what they already did for him, that and trying to earn back Irene only knew how much money. Laurence sighed though, tightening his fist on his pants. "Y-yes sir."

It took about twenty minutes for Laurence to get his white leg brace on his leg and stumbling around on a set of crutches. He limped out of the ER and into the main hall of the hospital where all his friends were waiting, even Cadenza was waiting, ordering them to let her in. It was hard to see everybody there looking at him worriedly, and even harder to see Garroth who was fighting off tears.

"You guys... um." He cleared his throat when he walked over to Cadenza who hugged him a little too tightly. She was almost acting as though he had been in a coma for a few days or something.

"Are you okay?" She nearly yelled, cupping his face as tears started to spill onto her cheeks. "Irene, you scared me!"

"I-I'm fine." He promised, not just her but everybody around them. "L-like I said, it's just a sprain. I just need to stay off my leg for a few weeks. It won't been to hard, I mean I can have a Bones Marathon until I'm fine. It's better and I can finish taking those lights down."

"No way, Laurence." Aphmau smiled, "Aaron did it already, you don't have to worry about that."

"A-Aaron?" He looked over at the dark haired boy, "Thanks."

"No problem." Aaron shrugged.

Laurence walked over to Garroth, giving him a cautious smile. "Are you alright?"

"I should never have let you go up there." Garroth said, avoiding looking at him. "The ladder was older than me. It wasn't safe but I let you go up there anyway, I'm sorry."

Laurence sat down on the chair next to him, "Stop, you couldn't have known that it was going to give out like that. It could have been you that the ladder broke on, honestly it's better than you getting hurt."

"But..." Garroth clenched his fist, "I should have paid more attention! Damn it, Laurence you're-." He stopped himself as he pushed his knee against Laurence's. "You know what I mean... I don't want anything bad to happen to you, especially not if I can stop it from happening."

Laurence blushed, "Stop. It's not your fault. It was an accident, Garroth. Accident's happen and there's nothing we can do about it. Things might be different if it was a break but a twisted ankle." Laurence chuckled, "Well, that isn't really something to worry so much about."

"Okay, But I'm going to take care of you until you're healed, and I won't take no for an answer!"

Laurence giggled, "Fine. Fine."

Aphmau then spoke up, "Laurence, you up for Olive Garden? I want breadsticks."

Laurence smiled, "I-I could eat."
