"What if you find your soul mate... at the wrong time?"
― Lauren Kate, Passion
Foolishly, but desirably in love. One person means everything, unknowingly. Sometimes in love the love is a less...
Everything about Miya's smile and her word choices proves she's happy. I don't even know what she's saying, I'm not paying attention. I look down at our food, and my eyes trail over to her. Scanning her, I realize how much I missed her. The arguing was way to dragged out, because of how we're both stubborn. I meant every single thing I said to her in the car, I'm so ready to move on.
But I'm having a little fight with myself...
I've come to a conclusion that it's so easy to claim love as much as it is is easy to say. And I'm realizing that I was moving to fast. I wanted Miya so bad, and now I have her. The way I feel for Miya is beyond crazy, but is it really love? Maybe I thought it was
I was so ready to label Miya as the love of my life and so ready to claim her to be the one that owns my heart. But being with Tiana... Made me feel different too. I'm not going to label anything Tiana and I have though; because I'm not ready for a new set of feelings.
As if I can control them...
Damn this is really wrong, but I can't help that they both make me feel different.
I stare at Miya. Her being with me right now felt unreal. I can't believe she's back and she's sitting here with me. We're not arguing and as far as she knows we're back on good terms. My stomach flipped over and over. The guilt didn't really settle in until now.
I really cheated on Miya... I could just throw up about now. No, wait. In a sense we were both telling each other off, saying "this break is needed," quote from Miya. So was it really cheating? I could tell her I misinterpreted everything.
Never mind forget it. I can't tell her, and if this dirty secret ever finds its way to the light I'll deny it. It's crazy but I have to lie in order to keep her, then again that's pretty stupid. I have to tell her the truth one day. But damn I can't do it right now, with the way she's smiling that'll ruin her.
I just have to fix the issue before she finds out there's an issue. "Miya, I uh..." I reach into my pocket and pull out a small box. I place it on the table."Got you something." I wet my lips nervously as I slide the box to her.
She puts her drink down and picks up the box. She's already smling, and she hasn't even opened the box. "You gonna open it or?" I teased.
She chuckles and slowly opens the box. I try to bite back my smile when she gasps lowly. "Chrissy..."

"How did you even..."
"It was expensive." I chuckle. "But don't worry about it, you deserve more than that anyway." I murmured. I watch the little sparkle in her eyes as she admired the necklace.
