Quick note: chapters 71 & 72 are a whole week together. So you might notice how the scenes are jumping from one place to another it's bc it's another day or whatever. Just trying to pick up the pace. If you're confused ask questions :)

Idk who that lady is but I thought Miya looked super cute in this pic (like bro seriously, she looks adorable) so I wanted to share.

Miya

"Wow."

"Oh my God."

"Really Miya?"

I rolled my eyes over dramatically. "What? I didn't say I got back with him."

"But you were with him on prom night?" Tyra asks. We're currently on Oovoo, and it's a three way call. As usually Angie's acting as an echo as Tyra plays detective.

"I was where I was." I mumble.

And a long awkward pause...

"He doesn't deserve you bruh!" Angie says. "Like, on everything."

Tyra just shrugs and shakes her head.

"So are we gonna' spend this who call on talking about him? Cause I called to ask y'all if y'all wanted to go out to eat? And you got plans and you gotta go to work soon." I look around my room and then back at the camera. "So, how did this conversation even lead to... That?"

"We was blowing your phone up, worried about your whereabouts and the whole time you were with him. Son, I care for you that's why I'm nagging." Tyra says, totally disregarding everything I just said. "He ain't gon do nothing but hold you back and sweet talk you when he messes up again. That's just the kind of guy he is." She says. I furrow my eyebrows, ready to retaliate but she's kind of... Telling the truth. "I gotta go to work. See y'all later. And Miya?"

"Yes?"

"Drop that fool."

"Yeah, I gotta go too. But seriously Miya you have way too much going for you. Don't waste ya' time on him... Again."

And the call ends.

I laid flat on my back, with my phone in my hands. Since my friends are busy, and I don't feel like packing I have nothing to do. Well, I did plan on going to the library. I haven't read a good book in forever and I need to refresh my mind; maybe even pick up some books on business administration or entrepreneurship. I decided to apply for college while in New York, and I think I figured out what I want to major in. If modeling doesn't work out I'll have something to fall back on.

I hit the home button on my phone and exit out of the Twitter app. So the library is on my to-do list. I have nothing else to do after that... What a life.

I let my phone fall onto my bed, as I roll over and land my feet on the ground.

I stretched and let out the ugliest moan. I sigh, and shuffle my feet towards the bathroom. While there, I go back and forth with myself: should I make myself a homemade breakfast or stop by Starbucks on the way to the library?
