It's almost noon. Dakota is filling out Angelina's release papers. She can fill them out but since her name isn't on the list for people that can sign Angelina out of the hospital like Nate, her mom is here.
Ding.
I check the lock screen of my phone it's from Chandler. I open my phone to messages and text him back.

After the conversation, I walk outside of the building and go into contacts on my phone. I click Chandler. The phone starts to ring. I put it up to my left ear. He picks up on the second ring.
"Hello," he says from the other end.
"Hi, what do you need?" I say.
"This might sound crazy, but you know how I've been limited to movement in my legs?" He says.
"Yeah," I say.
"Well, I... I can feel my left leg fully, more than I've ever before. I still can't feel my right from the knee down though," he says.
"Wow. Chan, that's amazing. I mean most people don't have comebacks like this. But don't try anything yet, wait till mom gets back. That's incredible news," I say.
"Yeah, oh. Mom's getting in now, I already told her, she said we're going to see a doctor tomorrow about it," he says.
I hear the door open. I glance toward it. Hunter's standing there motioning for me to come back in. I put up my index finger on my right hand to him, indicating 1 minute.
"Okay, well I gotta go," I say.
"Okay, I'll talk to you later," he says.
"Bye," I say.
"Bye," he says from the other line, then hangs up.
"Who was that?" I hear Hunter say as I open the door to walk in. I hold it open for him.
"Chandler," I say.
"Oh, what'd he want?" He says walking in.
"He told me he could feel one of his legs," I say.
"Like fully? Wow that's insane," he says.
"I know right," I say.
"C'mon, let's go," he says, then starts walking down one of the halls. I follow.
"So are we going to see Nate?" I ask. I already know the answer.
"Yeah, Lina's already in there," he says.
When we get to the door I hear voices.
"I'm okay, I'm doing better. I promise," I hear Nate say.
"Please just tell me what he said," I hear Lina say, "You're clearly not fine."
"But I am perfectly fine, never been better," he says.
"That's it," I say then I open the door and walk in. They're nowhere in sight.
"You're not fine," I hear Lina say. I look on the other side of the bed. They're both on the floor. He's in the corner. His arm is still connected to wires and stuff. He's in the same lime green t-shirt and black basketball shorts he was before.
"I just don't think I can do this much longer," he says and brings his knees to his chest in a sitting position. Then Hunter bends down to see eye to eye with them. I sit down on the floor.
"Nathan, you have so much potential. Don't give up on yourself," she says putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Nathan what did Cameron say?" I ask.
"Your life is worth living, don't give up," Hunter says.
"I can't take this anymore, I've failed one to many times," he says. Then he grabs something from the floor. I don't know exactly what, but it looks like it could hurt.
He grips it so tight his hand starts to bleed. Lina takes it away as fast as she can.
"Nathan snap out of it. I know this isn't you. You're better then this. You don't give up without a fight. You have to fight this battle. You will win. Don't give in," she says. He's lying on the floor with his hands over his ears, his legs still curled up. Lina brushes back his bangs. He's staring into the wall.
Suddenly, the door opens with a squeak. I look to the door, so does Hunter. There in the doorframe stands Dakota. She has a syringe with something in it. I get up and walk to her.
"What's that for?" I whisper.
"They need Nathan. He's not going to come on his own, so they need someone to inject this into his arm. It will probably knock him out, but they need him calm," she says, "Do you think you could do it?"
"Me? Why me. I mean I could, but I'm not really good at that stuff," I say.
"Because he won't let me get close to him right now, so while Angelina is distracting him you can get it injected," she says.
I look over at Nate. He needs our help. Badly. He's getting worse by the minute. "Fine," I say looking back at her and holding out my left hand. Then she gives me the syringe.
I guess after I walked to Dakota, Hunter turned back to try and talk to Nate because then he looks at me again. I walk over and bend down, Lina notices what I need to do. She starts caressing his hand. He loosens his grip on his own head. She then holds his arm still and whispers to him, "Nathan, I'm sorry, forgive me for doing this." Then I put the needle of the syringe in his arm. Then I take out the needle. It comes out pretty much clean. I hear his head hit the ground. He's unconscious.
"I'll go get the doctors," Dakota says. Then leaves.
