Chapter 68: Gone But Not Forgotten

~Deimos's POV~

I was laying in bed with Re-Re. We were watching Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School. She's been pretty depressed lately. I can feel it through our mate bond. She was always closer to Demos than she was to me. She doesn't care for the song There You'll Be by Faith Hill anymore. That used to be her and Demos's song.
"Can we stop the movie?" She asks.
I turned off the Blu-Ray player. Re-Re sighs.
"What's been up with you lately?" I asked.
"I miss him." She whispers.
"I miss you too." We heard Demos's voice say.
The hell?

And standing in the middle of our room was... Demos. Re-Re's face automatically lit up. She ran to him. And they actually hugged.
"I thought you were a ghost?" I asked.
"I am. But I'm able to hug and kiss people still. Come here brother." Demos said.
I got up and hugged him.
"I miss you so much." I said.
"As I, you guys." Demos said.
"My brother... You are gone but not forgotten." I said.
"And I would like it to stay that way. I mean, if love to come back. But since I technically can't, don't forget me. Neither one of you." Demos said.
"Never." I and Re-Re said.
I saw Re-Re wanting to spend some alone time with Demos.
"Excuse me." I said.
I walked out of the room.

~Re-Re's POV~

"Love... I understand why you changed your name and whatnot. But I love Annalise much more. The person you were born to be." Demos said.
I missed. I kinda missed my old self.
"I'll be Annalise again. Just for you." I said.
"Good." Demos said.
Demos looked at our Pagani sound system and There You'll Be by Faith Hill started playing.
"May I have this dance, my lady?" Demos asked as the song started playing.
"You may." I said as I took his hand.
We started slow dancing.

"When I think back on these times,

And the dreams we left behind.

I'll be glad cause I was blessed to get,

Demos twirled me around.

"When I look back on these days,

You were right there for me." I sang this part, no idea why.
