After dinner, William asked me if we go on a walk at the beach to enjoy the nice breeze but Tyrone whined about being sleepy so we weren't able to go for a walk. Instead, William walked Tyrone and me back to our room.
"Thank you for today, William. I really enjoyed, especially the dinner," I said after he laid Tyrone to bed.
"Anything for you, Tara. I hope you'll have a nice sleep. Tomorrow we'll go for more adventures," he said.
I smiled, "You're so generous. You're future wife will be super lucky."
William smiled lovingly at me. "Go get some sleep, Tara."
I walked William out of our room and got ready for bed.
Then I remembered Thomas. Kamusta na kaya yun?
I took my phone...
To: Thomas
Uy! Okay lang diyan?
I waited for a response but received none. Ano na kaya ang nangyayari dun. Bakit kasi hindi nagre-reply eh. Baka tulog na. Eh panu kung hindi at sobra masama na pala yung pakiramdam nun. Ugh.
I looked back to Tyrone who's already soundly sleeping; I can't leave this little one alone. I decided to dial Kim's number.
"Kimmy! Nasan ka? Nagde-date ka ba?" I immediately asked when she answered.
"Nasa room na, at hindi ako nagde-date, bungaga mo, Ara," she answered.
"Eh bakit mo dinala si Nate dito?" I retorted.
"Pakialam mo ba? Bakit ka napatawag?" she changed the topic.
"Pwede mo bang samahan si Ty dito? Sandali lang, may ichi-check lang ako," I said.
"San ka ba pupunta?" She asked.
"Masama daw pakiramdam ni Thomas eh, chi-check ko lang," I told her.
"Ahhhh, sige wait lang," she said.
After a few moments, Kim arrived. I gave her instructions before leaving.
"Baka susundan niyo lang si Ty? Babae naman para kumpleto na," Kim bantered.
I hit her arm which made her flinch. "Dumi ng isip ko Kim! Ikaw na bahala kay Ty ha," I said and left the room.
I knock on Thomas' door to no avail. I called his phone but I can only hear it ringing inside. Kinakabahan na talaga ako dito kay Thomas. Ano ba yan?
I knocked once more, forcefully this time. And finally he opened his door. His hair is a mess, his cheeks are fluffy, his eyes are half open. This one doesn't look sick. He looked like he's just out of bed.
His half open eyes eventually widen when he realized he has a visitor.
"Ara? Bakit? May problema ba? Bakit ka nandito? Gabi na ah. Anong nangyari?" he worriedly fired.
"Ha? Ano? Walang nangyari samin. Ikaw? Okay ka lang? Sabi ni Carol masama daw pakiramdam mo. Hindi ka pumunta sa dinner. I'm just here to check on you," I said.
"Okay lang ako. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked again.
"Oo nga," I replied.
He heaved out a sigh as a sign of relief. "Don't knock on me like that in the middle of night. I thought something has happened," he reprimanded.
