"Good Morning, Mrs. Torres," my dear loving husband greeted as he snake his arms around my waist.
I'm in the kitchen preparing breakfast when this handsome man hugged me from the back.
"Good morning," I answered without facing him. I don't want to burn the toasts while the man behind me continues to sniff and kiss my neck.
"Why are you up too early? I miss you in bed," he said without stopping from what he's doing. Hindi naman ako makiliti na tao pero distracting talaga tong ginagawa ng magaling kong asawa.
"Morning sickness. Hindi nako makatulog ulit kaya nag-walking ako ng very light then nagluto na lang din ng breakfast," I told him.
"Morning sickness, still? Sana ginising mo ko," Thomas stopped nibbling my neck. He bent forward to somehow face me.
"Ano ka ba? Kaya naman, medyo hindi na ganun kalala. I took the doctor's prescription already so stop worrying. Alam ko pagod ka at natambak na naman ang trabaho mo sa office. Weekend ngayon, kaya rest ka muna," I said and patted his face.
Medyo natambakan talaga ng trabaho si Thomas, kasi nga dahil sa kaka-travel namin. Nung pumunta kami ng Maldives then sa Indonesia. He's also been out of the office because of me. The last few days medyo malala ng very light ang mga pregnancy symptoms ko kaya absent na naman ang mister ko. Nandun naman si Kuya Axel kaso yung ibang documents kailangan ng double sign from Kuya and Thomas talaga. Eto namang si Thomas, medyo obsessive compulsive pagdating sa office, talagang iniisa-isa lahat ng documents bago pirmahan kung nandun siya. Kaya pagoda ang lolo niyo kagabi.
"Still, pag ganiyan, gigisingin mo ako, Ara," Thomas reprimanded.
"Oo na po. Okay na ko, medyo nakatulong nga yung konting exercise ko. Kailangan talagang gumalaw nitong katawan ko," I said.
"Saan ka nakarating?" Thomas asked. I took out the toasts and put it on a plate.
"Dito lang sa loob, umikot lang," I said I took out the eggs. "Si Ty?"
"Tulog pa rin po," Thomas said. "Ready ka na for later?"
Okay. So Thomas and I invited the Bullies plus the freebies for a weekend tambay here. Mika's just two blocks away and the others are just nearby. We will tell them about everything that has happened to Thomas and I for the past month.
"Basta sanggain mo lahat ng ibabato ng mga kaibigan ko ha, literally. Baka batuhin ako ng bangko ni Kimmy mamaya," I said.
It made Thomas chuckle but it's not a hyperbole. My friends really have tendencies of doing that.
"Bili muna siguro ako ng football gear," Thomas joked and he hugged me tighter. "They'll be happy for you, don't worry. Your friends are a bit rough but they love you."
"I know," I said and gave a quick kiss on his cheeks. "They'll be happy because I'm happy."
Thomas kissed my shoulder, "I'm happy that you are."
"Makukutusan lang siguro ako ng konti pero keri na," I said which made Thomas chuckle. "Pwede mo na pong gisingin si Kuya Ty. I'll be ready in a bit."
"I like the sound of that. Kuya Tyrone," Thomas said. "I can't wait for my twins."
I just smiled as Thomas gave me one last kiss on my cheeks before he left to wake Tyrone.
