Author's Note:
Lamentations start here.
Okay at dahil na naman sa unfortunate events na nangyari sa game nila Ara kahapon. I was able to make another one. Hahaha. I watched the game yesterday and F2 Logistics looked completely lost in the woods. And since lost in the woods sila, etong chapter na eto ay lost in the woods din. I'm not sure where I am going with this one. I just kept writing. Whatever.

"Mommy," I heard Lia called me.
I am reading a financial report of the Spa in our garden when my first daughter came to me. She sat beside me.
"Yes Ate?" I asked and put down the folder. "You need something?"
Lia hesitated first but eventually sat up straight as if she made up her mind. "No Mom. I have something to ask lang po... Jake's been acting weird lately, Mom. He's... weird."
Jake is my bestfriend's first child. His name is Jacob Miguel but we call him Jake.
"Uh-haaa, and?" I urged.
"And... he asked me out," Lia blurted out. "I believe it's a date? He didn't say it directly like it's really a date but he said he wanted to watch a movie and then dinner after and whatever I want to do. I figured it out as a date. Right, Mom?"
I tried to hide my smile. Hay my super dense but extremely smart Lia. She's always like this. She's very smart and cerebral so she tends to overthink things. By the way, my twins are already 17 year olds, Kuya is 21 and Mara is 15. Time flies so fast that Thomas and I already have a fully grown child in Kuya.
Back to Lia, she really looked confused right now. Medyo iba kasi si Lia. Girls her age are already going out there, looking for boyfriends, shopping everywhere and whatever those girls are doing nowadays. Lia on the other hand, hmmm, is a nerd, not in a big-eyeglasses-pigtails-braces kind of way. Let's just say she prefers staying at home, reading her classic books, playing her piano and reading more books. Don't get me wrong, with no bias, Lia is a naturally beautiful girl with those long black hair, Thomas' eyes, my nose, pinky lips and the extremely long legs. Medyo maganda naman kasi talaga ang lahi ko at ni Thomas.
Lia is literally and strictly a school-training-house kind of person. She has her friends too, mostly her teammates which are literally her sister and the daughters of my friends. She doesn't need to go out to see her friends too because our houses are like 5-steps away from each other.
To sum this all up, Lia prefers to keep her world small. And basically, she is not exposed to some of the realities of the world, i.e. dating. Add to that, the extremely and always anxious and protective father in my husband. Mas lalong hindi talaga makaka-experience ng puppy love tong si Lia.
And now, she's asking me.
I heard from Mika that her son has this crush on my daughter. My other children are always teasing Lia about Jacob. Lia just rolls her eyes at them.
Lia and Jake are friends too since they are the twin sister and bestfriend, respectively, of my son, Ron. Parang lumaki na rin silang lahat na magkakasama.
"You're asking me if Jake is asking you out on a date?" I clarified.
Lia shook her head and looked at me confusingly. "What I really wanted to ask is should I go Mom?"
I smiled at her, "Well, I don't know. What do you feel like doing?"
Lia is a very responsible and intelligent girl. I always trust her decisions. And don't tell her twin brother I said that. The case is different with Ron.
