"Ara ha! Sumama ka," Carol warned again.
"Teka lang naman, Carol. Magpapaalam pa ko sa asawa ko. Alam mo naman yun," I told her.
Carol and I are the full-timers in the Spa since we have our degrees in business. The other girls also have their own assignments and helps in their own way. We only have one branch as of the moment, so it's not really a headache. The Spa is doing great and smooth sailing. It doesn't even take too much of our time. We have trustworthy and responsible crew, so no problems.
She stood from the table and gathered all her paper.
Pero we're not trying so hard na magka-baby agad," Carol said.
"Bahala nga kayo," I waved at her. "Layas na."
"Thanks Arabela, ikaw na bahala dito. Goodluck kay Thomas!" she said and left me in our office.
So as mentioned earlier, Mika and Jeron are having their baby number 2. Pumanta silang dalawa sa bahay kagabi to announce the happy blessing. She's 3 months on the go na daw. Jacob, their first born will be turning two this year pero may kapatid on the way na. But she said, she's not clsing any doors. They're just enjoying their figuratively small but physically big family.
I gathered all my things and put them in my bag. I stood up and went to my car. After a bazillion paper presentation to my husband, Thomas finally allowed me to drive. It took all my convincing powers to make him say yes.
I smiled. I have said this for so many times but I am saying it again anyways. I love my life. It's almost perfect. Isang kembot na lang talaga. Actually, half-step na nga lang eh.
Thomas and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary a month ago. I couldn't reiterate enough how perfect of a husband is Thomas. Haaay *dreamy face.
Tyrone is now seven. He will be in the first grade in the next school year. And he is ecstatic about it. I am also very proud of our Kuya because he's on top of his class.
Then the twins, Ron and Lia, are turning two in a few months time. Lia is definitely our princess. She's my exact opposite. Kung ako medyo boyish at makulit nung bata. Tong Unica Hija ko ay napakahinhin at prim and proper. Oh diba? Ron, on the other hand is an energy ball.
Hahaha.
Anyways, what Carol and I were talking about earlier was the business conference that we are invited into next week in Singapore. Carol already confirmed her participation while I still can't because I still need to consult my husband. You know Thomas, he wants to do everything together and I am not sure if he can come with me. We'll see what happens.
