"Daddy!" Tyrone ran to his Daddy Thomas when we entered the Torres foyer.

"Hey big boy," Thomas opened his arms wide for Tyrone to climb up. He was seated on one of the long couches reading a book.

"Tyrone, careful. Your Daddy Thomas is still recovering," I reminded.

"It's okay, Ara. I'm okay na," Thomas said and scooped his son up to his lap. "How did you get here? Hinatid kayo ni Kuya June?"

After the mini celebration yesterday, I decided to go home to Kuya June's condo so everybody can rest properly, especially Thomas.

"No, nag-taxi kami ni Tyrone," I said as I put down the things that I bought from the grocery.

I am planning to make pasta carbonara and pesto chicken. The doctor advised Thomas to refrain from eating colored food just to make sure that if another bleed comes along, it will be detected right away.

"You should've stayed last night. Ang tigas kasi ng ulo," He said as he handed his phone to his son to play with.

"Nakarating naman kami ng maayos ahh. Medyo late lang ng konti dahil sa traffic pero nandito naman na kami," I retorted.

"Fine," he surrendered.

"Bili na kaya ako ng kotse," I wondered, now that we're in the topic.

"No," Thomas shortly disagreed.

"Hindi ako humihingi sayo," I retorted.

"Ara, hindi mo na ko kakailanganin niyan," Thomas whined. "Kapag may sasakyan ka na, hindi ka na tatawag sakin para ipagdrive ka."

"Ang drama mo naman," I replied. "Tumigil ka nga, nag-iisip pa nga lang."

"But still..." Thomas whined even more.

"Tigilan mo ko Thomas," I said and sat across him and Tyrone. "Carbonara and pesto chicken?"

"That's what you're going to make?" Thomas asked wide-eyed.

"You like?" I asked. Thank God nakalimutan niya yung car topic.

"Yep!" Thomas nodded enthusiastically. Haha. Parang anak niya.

"Knock knock!" Thomas and I turned to the door. There we saw his assistant, Micko, carrying stacks of papers and folders in one arm and a briefcase on the other.

"Hey Micks! Is that everything?" Thomas asked him.

"These are the urgent ones," Micko raised the stack of papers. "And these are the extremely urgent ones boss," this time he raised the brief case.

"Hep hep! Tigil," I interrupted then stood. "What is that?" I asked Thomas.

"Work, na-house arrest ako ni Mommy eh," Thomas said.

"At pinadala mo dito?" I said with matching pamewang. "Maparaan pero no, you're not working."

"Ara you heard Micko, urgent yang mga yan. Ilang weeks din akong nawala," Thomas reasoned. He maneuvered away from Tyrone who is busy with the phone. He stood in front of me. "Okay lang, dito lang naman ako sa bahay eh."
