A/N: Hello everyone! Sorry for the late delay, I'm currently on a holiday in Alicante so I barely have time to write and such! Also that means everything is written on my laptop. Beware of typos snd grammar mistakes.

It was with confusion and a flashlight on his phone that Luke hurried down the stairs from his bedroom, his eyes tired from being broken out of his sleep. He assumed the knocking was coming from Calum, the boy most probably forgetting his keys after taking an extra shift at the bar.

Though his before tired eyes widened the second he opened the front door, seeing your devastated expression stand on his front porch.

"Y/N?" He breathed confused, taking a look at the time over his shoulder on the clock hanging in the kitchen. The time was striking past one am and it was a school night. "What are you doing here at this time of the night?"

"I'm late." You hiccuped, your cheeks flushed in a deep shade of red and your eyes squeezing by the tears welling.

"Late?" Luke repeated your question clearly not catching up with what you were hinting at. Though it took him seconds to realize the actual meaning of your statement and his lips parted surprised.

"And I don't know what to do." Your tone raised an octave when the last word left past your lips and a loud sob escaped afterwards. Your hands came up to dry off your stinging eyes but it wouldn't help at all, the tears overpowering everything else.

He opened the door fully to let you in, flicked on the lights and grabbed one of his t-shirts from the dresser. He nodded his head towards the bar chairs and wanted you to sit down to take a small breath and calm down.

"Want some water? I can make some tea if you want?" He mumbled, already opening the fridge in question.

"No I'm fine." You croaked and leaned your elbows against the cold marble, trying to calm down your nerves but your whole body was shaking. He could tell that you had been crying for at least an hour, your puffy eyes and the redness spoiling everything.

"You sure?" He asked just to be sure and leaned over the counter to grab your hand but you only shook your head no in answer.

"Where's uh- Calum?" You paused to take a deep breath before saying his name and looked up at Luke curious. He opened the fridge to grab a water bottle for himself and leaned against the counter to look at you.

"He's at work. He took an extra shift for Michael this afternoon but he should be home within an hour."

You nodded your head quietly while looking down at your reflection in the counter. It was a luck you had removed your mascara before heading for bed. You didn't even know what had been going on the past two hours but you were so utter confused you couldn't explain it if he asked.

"Babe..." He sighed and grabbed your hand slightly to lace your fingers. "What are you exactly talking about?"

"I haven't gotten my period yet..." You said in a quiet tone while trying to hold in the tears and not let your voice crack in the end. "I should have gotten it a few days ago and it hasn't arrived yet and I know I'm most probably overreacting but I'm NEVER late and I can't help thinking about..."

You paused to look at him not even wanting to say the last part of your sentence. Luke looked down at you with furrowed eyebrows while thinking back, trying to come up with what you were hinting at and that was when his eyes widened.

"But," He looked ahead of him while thinking back and pulled on his bottom lip with his fingers, "We've done it a few times before. Why are you so scared right now?"
