I groaned and fell forward onto Luke's bed. I felt Luke's fingers pull my skirt back over my bum, probably covering my exposed underwear. He collapsed next to me, tossing his arm over my back.

"What's a pretty boy doing hiding in my bed at one in the morning?" He asked quietly.

"Feeling...stressed." I replied.

"You know...stressed backwards is desserts." Luke said.

"I don't want to move." I groaned.

"You don't have too." Luke said before carefully picking me up.

I let out another groan, "Lucas."

He ignored me and carried my like a baby, with me on his hip and his hand under my bum to keep me up.

"I'm not ready for the next two days." I whined.

"Too much eating?" He asked.

"Exactly."

Mum wanted to have a big family dinner on Wednesday with our grandparents and weird uncles and the whole package. Then on Thursday we'll have a small, son and parents thanksgiving.

Luke is doing the same thing. Big party with family on Wednesday, son and parents on Thursday. He got to stay home on Friday while his mum went Black Friday shopping. I wish I got to stay home like him because my mum was dragging me with her.

Luke put me down on a barstool and smiled at his mother.

"You still cooking?" The taller blond asked.

"I've been cooking since 5 this morning, Luke." Mrs. Hemmings replied.

"yeah...i was sleeping." Luke stated.

"And I was working." I mumbled, feeling my eyelids get heavy.

"Michael!"

Michael fell into my arms and immediately let out small snores.

"Mom!" I whisper shouted, "What do I do?"

"Put him somewhere and put a blanket on top of him. That's what I did you guys fell asleep." Mum shrugged.

"Yeah. I remember." I grumbled.

I carried him into the living room and set him down on the couch. I pulled a big quilt over him and tucked him in.

"Goodnight, baby." I whispered, kissing his temple.

I went back into the kitchen. Mum was working on the pumpkin pie while trying to cook the apple pie.

"Need help?" I asked.

"I needed help since 5 am today, Lucas." She replied.

"Alright, alright. So...no?" I joked.

She threw an empty soda can at me.

"I was thinking...you haven't met Michael's parents..." I started.

She looked up at me, "So they'll come over on Thanksgiving."

"Yeah..I was thinking at least, um, is that cool?" I asked.

"That's fine with me. I'll talk with your father and as long as Michael's parent want to come over they may." Mum said.

"Alright. Now I need to find my pants without the hole in them."
