California Dream

Chapter 2

I wake up to the sun shining through the windows, I'm really going to need some heavy duty blinds. I roll over checking the time on my alarm, 7:00. This time change is going to take some getting used to.

I walk into the bathroom and take a quick shower then get dressed in a pair of jean shorts and a t-shirt. I look around my room and walk over to my bags. "Well I guess it's time to unpack all my crap," I whisper to myself.

I walk over to my closet and open the door. It's a cute little walk in closet but still spacious enough to fit all of my wardrobe. After about a thousand shirts and dresses later I start to smell coffee coming from the kitchen. Erin must've gotten up and I didn't notice.

I flop down the steps into the kitchen and find Erin sitting at the counter sipping a cup of coffee. "Morning, you're up early." I moan as I walk over to the coffee maker.

"I know I have some plans for us to do today so I thought I'd wake up a bit early." I glance at the clock 8:30.

"So what are the plans?"

"Well I was thinking we could go to Santa Monica pier and hang out there for awhile then just decide after that." she says with a smile.

"Sounds good to me," I say back as I plop down in the chair next to her. "what time would you want to leave here?"

"How's 10:30?" she replies.

"That's fine. You want me to make some breakfast?"

"Sure, if you want,"

"How's pancakes?" I ask.

"Yum! I haven't had pancakes in forever," I slide down from my stool and grab the eggs and milk from the fridge and open the pantry door grabbing the pancake mix.

I walk upstairs to my room and go in my closet choosing something to wear. I decide on a pair if white shorts and a loose blue tank top with a lace back. In the bathroom I quickly straighten my hair and fix my makeup to make my brown eyes stand out.

10:10. I lock my phone and go downstairs, sliding on my black vans and grabbing my purse.

"Erin, are you almost ready?" I call upstairs.

"Yeah just give me a another second!" she calls back. My phone lights up revealing a tweet notice from Connor Franta, it says "Ok guys it's officially set! O2L's meet up will be at 1:00 today in Friendship Park! Hope to see you there!" I lock my phone again. Erin comes downstairs and we walk out to her car.

"Hey would you mind if we went to an O2L meet up after we go to the pier?" I ask.

"Why?" she says back. Erin's never liked O2L for some reason. After the countless videos I've shown her you'd think she'd like them, but she doesn't.

"Because I love them! And you know how long it's been since I've wanted to meet them, please can we go? pleeaaasse?" I plead.

"Fine we'll go. what time is it and where's it at?"

"1:00, Friendship Park."

N/R so how'd you guys like that chapter? I know not very much happened but I'll most likely post another one tonight! Sorry about the weird name of the park though I don't know the names of places in California so I'm just using names of places that I live around.
