Chapter 34

My phone vibrates in my pocket as I walk through the front door.

I press the answer button.

"What's up?" I ask.

"You mind if I come over for a while we need to talk," Kian says.

"Yeah. Is everything ok?" I ask.

"Yeah everything's fine we just need to talk."

"Ok I'll see you in a bit," I say.

"Ok bye."

"Bye." I take the phone away from my ear and hang it up.

"Who was that?" Erin questions.

"Just Kian he wanted to see if he could come over so we could talk."

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah from what I know of," I say.

"Oh." I walk into the kitchen and grab a bowl of goldfish and a water.

"Mind if I join you?" I ask Erin as I plop down on the couch.

"Sure." I look over to see Raphael curled up next to her fast asleep. Ever since we got him he's had quite the attachment to Erin.

"So how are things going between you and Jc?" I ask.

"They're good!" she tells me.

"Well that's good, me and Ashley came up with a ship name for you guys," I say with a laugh.

"And what might this ship name be?" she questions.

"Jin."

"Jin?"

"Yup. I was at the doctors and Ashley came up with it while she was waiting for me," I say.

"Well that's interesting," she laughs.

The front door opens and I get up from the couch.

"Hey cutie," Kian says as he gives me a kiss.

"Hey what'd you want to talk about?" I ask.

"You mind if we talk in private?" he asks glancing at Erin.

"Oh sure." I grab his hand and lead him upstairs to my room.

"Seriously what's going on?" I ask.

"We need to talk about Travis."

"What about Travis?"

"Are you going to press charges against him?" he questions.

"I was kind of planning on it considering what he did. Why does it matter?"

"Because." He pauses. "Travis is my brother."

I stand there staring at him in shock.

"Then how come you two have different last names?" I ask.

"He has a different dad than me. My mom remarried after his dad died."

"So he's your half brother?"

"Yup."

"And why did you never tell me this?"

"I don't know I just never felt like there was a right time to," he says.

"Kian I was in the hospital for an entire week. What do you mean you never felt there was a right time to tell me?"

"I don't know."

"I'm still pressing charges," I say.

"I don't blame you."

"Really? I would've thought you wouldn't want me to."

"No. We've never gotten along. He's always been really cruel to me. He always made fun of me about the YouTube channel and everything," he explains.

"Well do you know why he did this?"

"Truthfully I think he targeted you because he saw you with me and the guys, but he's always been getting into trouble. He's been to jail like 3 times."

"Oh."

"I just thought I should let you know," he says.

"Ok thanks. I just wish you would've told me sooner."

"I know, I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Just don't hesitate to tell me things anymore," I say.

"I know." I look up into his beautiful brown eyes and he leans down and kisses me.
