Chapter 33

Later that night Kian takes me to the beach.

"It's so beautiful out here," I say looking up at the stars.

"It is," he agrees. I lay down on the cool sand. Kian lays beside me.

"I could just lay here forever," I tell him. I take in the sounds of the crickets and the waves washing up onto the beach.

Kian grabs my hand and grab his tightly.

"I better get you home," he says.

"Ok." I stand up and dust the sand off of myself. We walk back to the car holding hands.

He drives slowly back to my house. We pull into the driveway and he opens the door for me, then walks me to the front door.

"I had a great time today," I tell Kian.

"Me too. I'm glad you were able to spend it with me," he replies.

"Me too." Kian leans in and gives me a long kiss. His lips are warm and soft against mine. The kiss was just like the first time he had kissed me when we were at Disneyland.

"I've gotta go," he whispers in my ear.

"Bye," I say. I give him one last passionate kiss then he leaves.

I walk into the house with a huge grin on my face. Erin and Ashley aren't around considering its 2am. They're probably asleep.

I make my way up to my room and lay down in my bed. Instead of going to sleep I decide to go and sit out on the balcony. I change my clothes then walk outside. I lay down on the cushioned wicker chair. My eyes dance around as I follow the stars in the sky.

My mind starts to think about Kian. Never in my life have I ever met a guy who has cared so much about me. It's almost as if I'm his main priority in life.

As my mind runs over my feelings of Kian I close my eyes and drift to sleep.

"Annie?" Ashley asks causing me to wake up.

"What," I moan as I open my eyes.

"Why are you sleeping out here?"

"I came out here last night after I got home and I guess I fell asleep," I explain.

"Oh well it's 10:00. You have a doctor's appointment at 11 just to let you know."

"Ok." I stand from the chair and follow her inside. I brush my hair out then put it in a bun. I fix my makeup change then go downstairs.

"Hey do one of you mind driving me to the doctor?" I ask Erin and Ashley.

"Yeah I'll take you," Ashley says.

"Ok thanks. We have to leave here in like 10 minutes."

"Ok." I walk into the kitchen and grab a bowl of goldfish. Yes I eat goldfish all hours of the day, judge me.

"Ready to go?" Ashley asks.

"Yupp." We drive to the hospital with the music up and the windows down. I reach to the radio and turn down the music a bit.

"So you and Connor?" I ask wriggling my eyebrows at her.

She laughs at me, "yes me and Connor."

"How'd you get back together with him?"

"I just came out to him and told him how I felt. He said he still had feelings for me too. He asked me how you felt about it and I told him you were fine with it, so here we are now," she says giving me a smile.
