Chapter 37

I open my eyes to Kian rustling the sheets.

"Good morning," I say looking up at him giving him a soft smile.

"Good morning to you too," he replies as he gives me a kiss. "What time is it?"

I glance over at the clock, "10:00."

"When did I fall asleep last night?" he asks.

"I don't know sometime while we were watching Finding Nemo. It ended and I looked up at you and you were out."

"How come you didn't wake me up?"

"You just looked so cute and comfortable," I say giving him another kiss.

"Oh I see," he says kissing me back. "So what do you want to do today?"

"We have the court thing to go to at 1:30 so there's not very much we can do." I say.

"Yeah I should probably go work out again. You mind if I do that then pick you up around 1:30?"

"Yeah that's fine," I say.

"Ok well I better get going then. Just keep the movies here, I never watch them anyways," he says as I start to collect them.

"Alright, well I'll see you later then."

"Bye," He gives me another kiss then leaves.

I walk downstairs after I hear the front door close.

"Morning," I say to Erin and Ashley.

"Hey there," they both say giving me a smile as if they know something.

"Oh stop, he just spent the night we didn't do anything."

"Ok then," Ashley says.

"I don't have to be at the courthouse for about three hours you guys want to go tan for an hour or so?" I ask.

"Sure," Erin says.

"You want to go?" I ask Ashley.

"Yeah sure."

"Ok I'll be right back then," I go back upstairs and pull out my floral bikini I had worn my first day here. Over that I put on just a pair of shorts then grab my towel and sunglasses.

I walk back downstairs and wait for Erin and Ashley.

"Ready?" I ask as they walk down the steps.

"Yup," Ashely says. We walk out the back door into the warm early June air.

"I love living on the beach," Erin says as she lays her towel out.

"I know me too. I've lived in California all my life but never have I lived this close to the beach."

I lay my towel on the ground then spray some tanning oil on. I look around as else on the beach. We lay out for a good hour.

"Hey I'm going to go back to the house you guys can stay here if you want," I say to Erin and Ashley.

"I think I'm going to stay. How about you Ashley?" Erin says.

"Yeah I think I'm going to stay too," Ashley says.

"Ok well I don't know how long I'll be out so I'll see you guys later," I tell them.

"Bye, good luck with the thing," Erin says.

"Bye," Ashley tells me.

I grab my towel then head back to the house.

I take a shower then change into a navy blue lace dress with a slim black belt around the waste. I blow my hair dry and decide to change it up a bit by curling my hair. I apply my foundation then make a smokey eye on each eye. I next apply a thin line of eye liner to my eyelids then my waterline. I brush on some mascara then put some blush and lipstick on.
