I wake up the next morning to find a ballon that says get well soon. It's tied to a cute small teddy bear. A card sits next to it. In big bubbly cursive letters it says get well soon on the cover, I open it to find Kian's name written in cursive on the inside along with a note.

The note says, "Annie, I'm extremely lucky to have a girl like you. You're beautiful, sweet, and you have a personality that could light up an entire room. Get well soon so I can take you on the greatest date of your life(:

Love, Kian.

I close the card and set it back on the table next to the teddy bear.

I look around the room and focus on Kian sleeping on the couch. Every once in a while he makes a cute snoring sound that's kind of funny. I try my best to keep from laughing.

My eyes travel around the rest of the room looking for something to do until he wakes up. There's absolutely nothing other than to read which I can't or my head will start to excruciatingly hurt again. I spot my phone on the table behind the teddy bear.

I first check the time- 7:00.

I get on twitter and find tons of notifications from people back home all saying "get well soon" or "you're in our prayers". Seeing them makes me smile. I find one from my sister saying "Gosh I know we should've never let you go. We all knew you'd party to hard and get hurt. Haha love you, get well soon!" It makes me laugh but also makes me realize how much I miss my family back home. I find a message from my mom saying "We love you and hope that everything is ok. I wish we could fly out there to help you through this but we don't have the money for the plane tickets. I know Erin will take good care of you. Love you! -mom"

At this point I'm almost to tears. I know I sound like a baby for crying over a message from my mom, but she's my mom. When I was little and I got hurt she would always be there to take care of me. Now I don't have that. I read the message again and a tear falls down my cheek.

"What's wrong?" I hear Kian say startling me a bit.

"I just read something my mom sent me. I just miss home that's all."

"Oh, come here," he says pulling me into his arms. I relax and try to forget about the message so I can compose myself.

"Ok I think I'm good," I say.

"You sure?" he asks.

"Yeah I'm fine."

Kian let's go of me. "No don't go I want you to stay here with me." I say looking up at him.

"Ok." I lean back into his chest and he envelopes his arms around me making me feel safe.

"So what are we gonna do today since no one can come and visit?" I ask him.

"Anything you want to do." he says.

"Trust me I can think of plenty of things to do but none of them involve me being in a wheelchair or hospital bed," I laugh.

"Well all the ideas need to involve this bed or a wheelchair, or you could fall and end up being in here longer."

"True," I agree. "What would you want to do?" I ask him.

"Well I don't really know if you'd feel up to this but we could make a video," he suggests.

"I don't know I look really bad and just icky," I say.

"Oh shush you look beautiful no matter what." He tells me.

I blush a little causing him to smile. "Fine I just need to wash my face and put some makeup on," I say.
