California Dream

Chapter 41

I wake up the next morning to the bright sun shining through my window. Damn I really need those curtains. I check the time- it's already 10:30. I have to meet the guys at Santa Monica Beach by 12:00.

I roll out of bed and walk into the bathroom. I take a quick shower then get dressed in a teal colored pair of high waisted shorts. I match it with a white cropped tank top that has ,gold studs on the breast pocket. I dry my hair and leave it in its soft natural waves. I quickly apply my makeup and brush my teeth.

"Hey I'm taking pictures of the guys at Santa Monica if you two want to come," I say to Erin and Ashley when I get downstairs.

"Yeah I'll go," Ashley says.

"I'll go too," Erin says.

"Ok I want to leave here around 11:30 ish so about half an hour," I tell them.

"Ok," Ashley says. They both stand and make their way upstairs.

"Hey you guys might want to wear your bathing suits just to let you know!" I call upstairs.

"Ok!" Erin calls back.

"Alright!" I hear Ashley say from her room.

I grab my camera from the closet and make sure the cards in it and the batteries are charged. I run back upstairs and put my neon pink fringe top bikini on underneath my clothes.

I put my black high tops on then grab my penny board from the corner just incase I need it.

I take my camera and penny board out to my car then go back inside. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge then sit down and watch tv. Nothing is really on so I just end up turning it off. I lay on the couch for about 30 minutes until I hear Erin and Ashley come down the steps.

"You guys ready?" I ask.

"Yup," they both say looking at each other then turning to me.

We walk out to my car and start to drive to Santa Monica. Today's weather is exceptional. It isn't to hot but the sun is still shining perfectly.

We pull into the parking lot next to the guys. All of them are standing around the back of the car waiting.

"Hey," I say to Kian as I give him a kiss.

"So you guys all brought bathing suits and two changes of clothes like I asked right?" I ask.

They all say they did so we start to head down the beach under the pier.

I take a few shots of all the guys together. I make them all jump in one of them which turns out pretty good looking.

I then move on to individual shots. For Connor's I did a few with Ashley and for Jc's I did a few of him with Erin. Along with Kian's I set a timer on the camera and we take a few together.

Out of all the pictures though my favorite is of me and Kian standing under the pier. We're facing with our sides to the camera and we're looking towards each other. I'm standing on my tiptoes as he leans down kissing me. Truthfully I find the picture to be pure gold.

My favorite group picture though is of all the guys running towards the water with their backs to the camera. Along with the guys I take a few pictures of me with Erin and Ashley.

My favorite picture of Erin and Ashley is where their backs are facing the camera and they're both holding my penny board between them while they make the good vibes hand sign with their free hand.

After taking the pictures we all just hangout at the beach for the day. We soak up the sun and run around in the water.

"Who's hungry?" Connor asks.

Practically all of us raise our hands all at the same time. We agree to go to an Asian restaurant just a few blocks from the beach. Considering the distance isn't very far we decide to walk and some of us ride our penny boards.

We talk and laugh through dinner all getting to know each other better. Today was a really fun day and it was all because I'm living my California Dream and I'm spending it with my friends.
