Kian pays the bill then we walk outside into the warm night air.
"Ready for the rest of the date?" Kian asks.
"Are you serious? There's more?"
"Yup," he says.
"Well take me to wherever it is."
We get in the car and drive for only about ten minutes.
"Starbucks?" I ask when we pull into the parking lot.
"This isn't just your average Starbucks," Kian says looking at me.
"And what makes it so special?" I question as we walk inside.
"Just follow me and you'll see."
We walk up to the counter and Kian talks to the manager.
"Come with me," Kian says. I grab his hand and he leads me a door in the back of the shop.
"Kian you can't go through there that's a fire escape," I say.
"That's what most people think," he tells me with a smile. He pushes open the door.
We step outside. "Oh my gosh this is amazing!"
"I know, right?"
I look around the garden. There's flowers and trees everywhere lining a stone walk way leading to tables. There's fountains spread around the entire area and above are fairy lights strung between the trees.
"How did you know about this?" I ask.
"I had a friend that used to be the manager here. She said that the owner special requested that the garden was put in because he needed a peaceful place to write."
"How many people know about this?" I question.
"Only the managers of the stores know about it and they're only allowed to tell a select few people."
"So how were you allowed to bring me back here?" I ask.
"I asked the manager. I told him I already knew about it and that I really wanted to bring you here on a date."
"Kian this is just beautiful back here. Thank you for showing me it," I say giving him a long kiss under the twinkling lights.
"You know what's even more beautiful though?" he asks as he stares into my eyes.
"What?" I say staring back into his.
"You. Nothing can ever be more beautiful than you."
I smile and lean back in and kiss him. His warm lips move just perfectly against mine. I softly breath in taking in the lingering smell of his cologne.
"Would you like to dance?" He asks.
"There's no music and I can't dance anyways."
"Well then I can teach you," he says. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and plays a slow song. "Just follow my moves."
"Ok but if I break my leg it's your fault," I say with a short laugh.
"I'll take full responsibility."
He lightly presses one hand on the small of my back then grabs my right hand. I place my casted arm on his shoulder.
We dance slowly but steadily around the garden, occasionally he twirls me.
We continue to dance. "Kian?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
"What made you like me?" I question.
