Chapter 40

"Hey," Ashley says as I sit down on the couch next to her.

"Hey."

"So how was the date with Kian last night? You were out pretty late."

"It was a lot of fun. He took me to this extremely nice restaurant in Beverly Hills then we went to the beach." I skip over Starbucks because the garden is supposed to be a secret.

"That sounds fun," she says as Raphael jumps into my lap.

"He told me he loves me."

At that moment Ashley almost spits her coffee across the room. She swallows then looks at me wide eyed.

"He said he loves you?" she questions.

"Yeah," I say with a smile.

"Well what did you say!? Tell me everything!" she squeals as she turns to face me better.

"I told him I love him too."

"Awe you did?" Ashley lets out in a cutesie tone.

"Yeah."

"How did he say it? Was it like all romantic or was it just a simple I love you?"

"Well we were at the beach and he said he'd race me to the water. So he ran and I ran after him. I got in the water just after he did and he picks me up and wraps my legs around his waist. He kissed me and then says I'm in love with you. I said I'm in love with you too back to him and that was about it," I explain.

"That is so cute!" she squeals again. I let out a little laugh. "So you really love him?" she asks.

"Yes," I tell her blushing a little.

"Erin needs to know about this," Ashley says standing up.

"No don't go wake her up just let her sleep. I'll tell her when she wakes up."

"Nope she needs to know now," Ashley says.

She quickly runs up the steps and into Erin's room. Not even a second later she comes running right back down.

"Did you tell her?" I ask.

"No, not really," she says biting her lip as if holding something back.

"Well did you wake her up?"

"Uh no."

"Well why not?" I ask.

"Because Erin's with someone."

"What do you mean she's with someone?"

"Jc's asleep in there with Erin," she says.

"Ok? Kian fell asleep in my bed the other day."

"Yeah but both of your guys's close weren't on the floor," she says looking at me.

"They didn't. Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure."

"Ok well just stay down here and don't say anything when they come down," I tell her.

"Ok."

We go back to the living room and turn the tv on.

"Good morning ladies," Kian says as he walks through the front door.

"Hey what are you doing here so early?" I ask as he kisses me.

"I was just got done running on the beach so I thought I'd come over for a bit."

"Oh ok," I say.

"By the way is Jc here? I don't think he's been home all night."

I take a quick glance at Ashley.
