I wake up to the door opening in my room. I slowly open one eye and glance over.
"Hey get up," Ashley says.
"What time is it?" I mumble.
"It's 2:00 in the afternoon princess," she says sarcastically.
"Let me go back to sleep," I say.
"Kian never texted you did he?" she asks.
"No. I woke up like 3 times this morning, and every time I just got more depressed so I went back to sleep."
"Well staying in bed and sleeping isn't going to fix anything," she says.
"Well I'm not apologizing to him. I did nothing but help my friend who needed me while he selfishly complained about how I was always busy or to tired."
"Annie, you were kind of just dropping Kian," she tells me softly.
I shoot her a sharp look.
"So what you're on his side?" I question bitterly.
"Look I'm not on anyone's side. I'm just saying he had a good point and so did you."
"Well I'm not apologizing. It's not my fault we broke up, he was selfish and he needs to be the one to apologize," I say.
"Ok," she says. "Just sit on that thought for awhile."
"I don't need to because I'm right."
"Ok then." Ashley stands and leaves my room closing the door behind her.
I think about what Ashley said even though I told her I don't need to. Maybe she is right. Maybe we both have good points. I push the thought out of my mind because Kian was being selfish to say that I was dropping him for a friend in need.
I get out of bed and take a highly needed shower. I change into a pair of pink shorts with lace on them and a creme colored crop top. I blow my hair dry then put some makeup on.
"Hey you want to go get something to eat?" I ask Ashley, when I get downstairs.
"Sure what sounds good?" she questions.
"How's Italian sound?"
"Good for me," she says.
"Ok, you ready to go now?"
"Yeah I think so," she tells me as she stands from the couch.
"Alrighty." I slide on my flip flops then grab my keys from the kitchen.
We walk out to the car and start to drive.
"So how was that meetup that you went to with Connor last week?" I ask.
"It was fun. There were probably about 400 people who showed up since it was celebration for him hitting 1 million subscribers."
"That's a pretty good turn out for just one person," I say.
"It was, it took like 5 hours because they made so much one on one time."
We pull in and walk inside.
"Table for two please," Ashley tells the hostess.
We take our seats in a small booth.
"So you really think you're right?" Ashley asks.
"Yeah, I mean he told me that I was dropping him to take care of a child that isn't even my own. She's my goddaughter and Erin and Jc need the help so I'm the first person they go to. What Kian said was just selfish," I explain.
"I fully understand what you're saying, but Kian does have a bit of a point. Jc and Erin need to learn how to take care of Copeland on their own. You aren't always going to be there to help them. Though Kian probably did sound a bit selfish when he said that it's probably just his way of saying that he misses you or wants you around more."
"You're right but why isn't HE telling me that," I say extremely emphasizing the he.
"That's very true. He should be the one saying this to you not me," she says.
"Exactly."
We order our food and continue our conversation. About halfway through Ashley looks over my head wide eyed.
"What?" I question.
"Oh shit," she whispers under her breath.
"Ashley seriously, what's going on?" I ask. I look in the direction of her stare and my mouth drops open in disbelief.
N/R ooo what's Annie staring at? I'm planning on posting the next chapter tomorrow afternoon but if I get at least 10 votes tonight before I go to sleep I'll post the chapter tonight! PLEASE VOTE AND COMMENT!
