*Aubrey's POV*
"Rogue I have to tell you something." I say in a shaky voice.
I am so unsure about this but I guess she has a right to know.
"Ya?" She says in a proud voice.
There is one thing about Rogue I will never get.
How such a cute little girl can have the effect on people she has.
She is confident about the stuff she does. Protective over the ones she cares about. Constantly strong and never broken. She has that edge and power to herself. She is an intimidating girl i'll say that.
She just seems like she should be in power. She is a leader.
"Remember they day we saw your mate and you told me about him. Well I have something to tell you" my voice almost went mute at the end of the sentence.
She narrowed her eyes but I could see concern hidden behind it.
"He's my brother."
"WHAT?" She yelled.
I slapped my hand over her mouth to basically tell her to be quiet because Luke was sleeping.
"Y-you never told me you had a brother?"
"Yes I did!" I firmly state.
"Well you could have told me who" she says in an angry voice.
"Rogue calm down" I say and attempt to rest my hand on her shoulder but she flinched away.
I frown. I have no idea why she's acting like this.
"I am calm!" She firmly states with a power behind her words.
Her eyes changing form there bright purple to dull silver then back to purple.
It was like she was fighting her wolf. I honestly don't know why she acting like this its not that big of a deal.
"Ok fine. Don't worry anyway though. He thinks I'm dead and so does the rest or the pack. No one will remember or recognize me. He didn't even know it was me" I state taking a few steps back.
She just shook her head and let out a held breath that she had forgotten he was holding.
"Ok" she whispered and swiftly turned and walked off into the room.
*Clay's POV*
It has been a week since we saw those rogues.
The one looked oddly very familiar and I knew the other in a heart beat. It was Rogue.
It's been a long hard, depressing week for Eric.
I could see it in his eyes when he saw her.
He's broken inside.
"Eric?" I said while softly knocking on his office door.
I waited a few seconds till I heard him shuffling around.
"Ya? Come in" he sounded rushed and stressed.
"Something up?" I said coming over to his desk.
"No." He said flatly.
I decided to stay quiet while he finished his paper work.
I sat down in one of the few chairs lining the outside of his desk. I was sitting opposite to him.
I found myself looking around the room at his family photos.
One of the photos had him, his older sister Aubrey, his mother and father all standing side by side with loving smiles.
The other one I looked at was his whole family in wolf form.
Him, his mother, his father then sister.
Wait!
I know that wolf.
We saw it a few days ago.
No. It couldn't be. She's dead. Or maybe she isn't. Maybe she's a rogue. Well that would explain why she's with Rogue.
"Um Eric sorry to interrupt you in your paper work but I have something very important to tell you" my voice had a edge to it.
"Its fine Clay I just finished. Now what's so important?" He questioned tilting his head slightly to the side.
"Aubrey's alive."
He looked at me with a blank stare for a second then quickly recovered his look.
"Wait my sister Aubrey?" His voice held a confused tone.
"Yes. Your sister Aubrey. The one that ran away five years ago and everyone thought was dead." I state slowly.
He lets out a sigh "how do you know this?"
"Remember the other day we saw Rogue and the other wolf and its cub."
He just nodded his head. I could see his brain working on overdrive.
"Well you remember that other wolf."
He nodded again.
"Okay. Well that was Aubrey."
"WHAT?"
I waited for him I speak again.
"She's been gone for five years. She was that close to me. My own sister! You could have had her back in my life! Why didn't you tell me sooner!" He stood up and started yelling.
"Eric calm down. I just figure it out a few minutes ago and don't worry we can still get her back!" I said standing up and putting my hand on his shoulder making him sit down again.
"Clay! I need her back. She's all I have left in my family" his voice was weak.
"I know Eric don't worry we'll get her back!" I said with certainty in my voice.
I would stop at nothing to help Eric. Not only is he my alpha but he's been my best friend since I was five.
But I would just get Aubrey back I would bring Rogue too. He needed her and she needed him.
**note**
So I guess I did have a bit of time before my hockey game today so I decided to update!
It's not much. More of another filler.
So my parents are both pissed at me because I wouldn't let them come to my school commencement so they coils watch me walk in stage and get two awards.
Like who wants there parents there to take photos and end up having a creepy smile on your face and your whole school laughs at you when you trip up the stairs.
Well not me. But my parents just think I'm being selfish. Whatever they'll get over it.
But wish me luck at my hokey game tonight! Maybe we'll win our second game of this season tonight!
Maybe ill get a goal. Probably not. Ill probably get a penalty though!
But ya enough of me. Hope you liked the chapter!
