My hair!? My eyes!?

I was out black like I couldn't see anything but I could hear and feel everything that was going on.

Kimberly had picked me up and started walking most likely back to mine and Eric's house.

Her pace quicken when she heard Eric shouting things.

Oh great he was looking for me.

I felt Kimberly knock on a door.

Heavy stomps headed towards the wood.

"What!" Eric yelled.

I really wish I was awake to see his face.

"M-mom?" He stuttered probably in shock.

"R-rogue?" His voice changed from shock to protective.

I was snatched from Kimberly's arms and pulled into the house.

I was placed down on a soft surface. Most likely the cough.

I heard the door close and soft footsteps walking towards me.

Eric's hand brushed away some fallen hair off my face.

"W-why is her hair purple and silver?" I asked in a confused tone.

What?

"I'll let her explain once she wakes up" his mothers soft voice boomed through the house.

I could feel Eric nod his head.

"B-but how are y-you here? Y-you were d-dead" Eric's voice cracked.

"Its all on Rogues doing. You have her to thank" I heard her soft footsteps near closer to me.

Soft warm lips landed on the top of my head "thank you" Kimberly whispered.

I could sense Kimberly's presence disappeared.

I felt someone stroke my hair. Their finger running down my back making me squirm.

My eyes slowly opened to see Eric smiling down at me.

"Would you care to explain?" He laughed.

I shook my head playfully.

"Well I wasn't really expecting you to say no but okay have it your way" Eric said jumping up onto of me.

He rested his knees on either side of my waist straddling me.

My breath hitched at his sudden movement.

But what he did next caught me completely off guard.

He started to tickle me. I squirmed underneath him trying to get out.

"S-s-stop!" I yelled in between laughs.

"Will you tell me what you did!" He said in a playful tone.

"Y-yes!"

Then he stopped but didn't get off of me.

"I'm waiting" he said laying down on top of me leaning all his weight on his arms around my head.

I smiled "well I-um-I" I really didn't know how to put it.

He sat up and pulled me out from under him and sat me on his lap.

He looked right down at me and stared into my eyes. He tilted his head to look at me and smiled.

"You're so beautiful" he bent down and kissed my forehead.

A deep red tinge crept onto my cheeks.

"Do you know anything about the 'red wolf'?" I asked him looking up into his eyes.

"Yes-wait!" His mouth fell agape.

I just nodded my head.

"No, you're the 'red wolf'!" His expression changed to shock.

I laughed at him and poked him in the chest.

"Yes I am!" I proudly stated.

A smile crept onto his face "I knew there was something special about you" he tapped his figure onto my nose.

I swatted his hand away.

I jumped off his lap and ran off deep into the house. I knew exactly where I was going, but Eric didn't.

I heard his heavy footsteps running behind me. I didn't even need to look back to know he was gaining on me.

"Rogue!" He yelled as I turned into the room. Which was the library.

I ran right over to my target and waited for Eric to catch up.

Not that it took that long he was like five steps behind me.

I picked the book up and shoved it into his chest.

He gave me a confused look.

"Just read it so I don't have to explain everything" I huffed and walked past him.

I walked into the hall and let out a loud scream.

I heard Eric rush out after me "Rogue what's wrong!"

"M-my hair? I-it's purple and silver, m-my eyes are r-red" I said pulling my hair out on each side.

"Calm down Rogue. You'll be fine. It only lasts a while and I don't need this book. I know everything about 'the red wolf'." He smile and gave me a big hug.

I rested my head on his chest.

I don't know how long we stayed like that but it felt perfect.

"I would like to introduce you to the pack tomorrow. Would you be okay with that?"

All is did was nod my head into his chest.
