8. A Crush On My Husband

I had loads of bags in my hand when I returned back. Drake was already there at home.

"Wooooo!! Looks like, you've done a lots of shopping with your sister." Drake looked at me in shock.

"Hehe...no its only when I go out with my Aura, I tend to do so much of shopping."
I pretended as though the bags were too heavy. Well, they were heavy. He began to mock at my acting skills. And I start to laugh along with him.

Both of us were sitting on the couch. Drake switched to music videos on the television. Suddenly the video of Ed-Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud came on the TV screen. I just love that song. Its one of my favorite.

Drake stood up and took my hand in his hand. I felt those pleasant tingles. I looked at our hands and then looked at him confusingly.

"May I have this dance?" He asked me so formally which made me giggle.
I couldn't help but smile at him . But there was one problem. I didn't know how to dance.

"Drake...I can't dance.." I said. He gave me a questioning look.

"Cause, I don't know how it works." He was still holding my hand.

"Come on Ana!! You can." He said while pulling me up so that I was on my feet,standing.

"Drake, I'll probably step on your feet." I tried to give excuses.

"No excuses." He said. Damn him!! He took me to the centre of the living room.

He placed his hands on my back and pulled me closer to him. He put my other hand on his shoulder. And we did something which is called dance,I guess.

From the very first step, I could tell Drake is a dancer, an excellent one!! While he continued dancing gracefully, I was dancing clumsily. He managed to handle me when I kept stepping on his feet. Miraculously after a few minutes, I started dancing properly, okay atleast better than earlier.

I didn't realise I was so close to Drake. His face so close to mine that I could kiss his kissable lips. But I was scared of the outcome that my action could result in. Its not like we didn't kiss earlier. But what if he thinks I'm too desperate. Well, I wasn't the one who took the first move to kiss, the first time. It was he who crashed his lips against mine. But again, I didn't slap him away. I did respond, very well though...

My thoughts began to fade when the song ended and we stopped dancing. We froze in positions. We were standing so close to each other. I was looking at him and he was looking back at me.

We were brought back to reality by Drake's phone call. We broke apart.

"Excuse me." Drake said as he went to pick his call.

"Hi!! Cool!!.... Make sure the decorations are perfect..... Yea, we don't want anyone to point out any mistakes...... You got me? Good. Bye." He was talking to someone over the phone. After that he came back,in front of me.

"You seem to be in a very cheerful mood today? Whats the matter?" I asked him curiously while sitting back on the couch.

"Tomorrow evening, we have an event to attend. Its an official party. There would be high officials representing various companies coming along to join the event. I would like you to come along with me." He seemed quite excited about it.

"I would love to join you." I said him, equally excited.

"Cool!!"

Ring. Ring.
Now my phone rings.

"Yoo!!" I heard Drake laugh in the background. "Sup??...no Aura...tomorrow I need to go out with Drake... Some official party....yea sure!
I'm so sorry... Aura,.could you help with grooming me up for the event.....seriously? Yeah? Thankyouu!! Love you .....cya tomorrow... Bye.." I hung up.

"Pftt.... It looked like Aura had a few plans with me for tomorrow... I guess I made her understand that I had to go out along with you." I told Drake who was already looking at me.

"Oh...what did she say?... Did you manage to convince her?.." His voice seemed low.

"When I mentioned about grooming me, she was pretty much excited. Well that's her weak point. She loves dressing up people ....so Drake.,if you don't mind-"

"Haha... I know... Yea sure, I shall pick you up at her place in the evening...."

PROBLEM WITH THE FURTHER CHAPTERS NOT BEING UPDATED ,THEN REMOVE THE BOOK FROM THE LIBRARY AND ADD IT BACK :)) IT WILL HELP
