13. A Crush On My Husband

DRAKE'S POV :

"Violet!! Enough!! I need to go, my wife is left all alone."

"Mr. Drake, by now your wife must have made loads of friends out there. This is something which deals with respect to the prestige of our company. If something goes wrong with the presentation then, dad might end up screwing us." She replied back which had a seriousness in her words.

"Arghh....fine!!"

Violet is my boss Mr. Richard's daughter. She has been given the post of the Secretary so she could learn a lot about the company and its working from us before she takes up her dad's place.

I see Jack talking to a few ladies out there or rather I see him flirting with the ladies out there. So I decide to call him and hopefully he agrees to what I ask him to do.

"Jack!! Jack!! Jack!! Come here!!"

"What's up moron?" He seems kinda happy.

"If you don't mind, could you keep Ana occupied in your talking. I don't know where she is. I'm pretty sure she might be bored by now. I feel really bad for her"

"Woa!! Woa!! Woa!! Don't try to take me emotionally man. Just now, I think I hit a jackpot. You see that beautiful chic out there. That's Helen. A name just like her..." He points out to a young lady who seems to look like an attitude-y freak.

"Yea. What about her? She doesn't seem that great" I give him an honest reply with a bored expression.

"Shut up!! As per you, its only your wife who is the most beautiful person in this universe. Helen seems to look like a wild cat on bed. I'm sure I would be hooked up with her by tonight." He licked his lips while saying that.

I'd nothing to reply while Violet snorted at it.

"What?? You jealous because Drake thinks his wife is the most beautiful lady or are you jealous because Helen would be the one to hook-up with me tonight?" He directed the question at Violet for her response which she gave him for his earlier talk.

I couldn't help but laugh and later Jack joined along.

Violet preferred to ignore Jack's question. She just seemed like she could kill Jack through her eyes but Jack just waved off at her and turned towards me.

"Am sorry man!! But I'm too tempted to be with her on bed!! She'll surely hook up with me for my charming looks. Who wouldn't? I just need to be around her for awhile and then straight away I'll be on her bed." He bragging about himself is nothing new to me. This is something I hear all the time.
"And moreover your wife will just be fine,bro. She isn't a baby. By now, she sure would have made loads of friends out there." Jack tried to reason out for not doing what I expected him of to.

After all, I think even he is right. I'm becoming too much of an overprotective husband. She is old enough to take care of herself and I bet she would understand my plight.
