35. A Crush On My Husband

ANASTASIA'S POV:

From the past two days, I've been waiting for this day. Last night when I spoke to Drake,he wasn't  sure if he would be arriving  to Seattle today but I've my own hopes.

Once I looked presentable in my clothes,i ascended the stairs to see mum preparing omelette for me.

"Good morning mom!! " I wish her and grab a piece of freshly sliced tomato from the plate.

" Good morning honey!! " she placed the plate of bread omelette on the table and sat beside me.

While I was having a bite of my food,she kept looking at me in a peculiar fashion which kind of made me blush . She had her eyes shining for me. Looking at her admiring me, didn't stop me from questioning her. So I stopped taking a bite.

" Why you looking at me like that mom? " I raised my brows and laughed while questioning her.

She laughed back.

"It feels like,i just had you as a baby in my arms yesterday and now... Look at you, you have grown to become another man's wife. I'm so proud of you baby." her voice cracked a little while she spoke. "I'm so proud of you little girl." she praised me again

I won't lie that it didn't mean anything to me. But to see my mom happy cause of me,is definitely a piece of memory which will be added to my treasure of priceless moments.

"I'm still your baby girl mom!! "I assured her by pressing her hand which were placed on the table.

" I know.. "

Once I was done with my breakfast, I placed the empty plate near the dishwasher.

"Mom, Drake might be coming back tonight..so I gotta be at my place, this evening.." I tell her with a few pauses in between words.

The minute she hears me.,she starts squeaking like a tiny little girl.

Gosh!! I give her a 'what the hell look?! '

"Mom!!!! "I whine at her while my mom keeps dancing around the hall.

"Nothing dear. I'm so happy that you've finally realised that Drake was never a bad choice you made in your life!!"

I tried hiding my smile away from her but mom,you know. She caught me!! She caught me blushing.

"Mom!! Stop it!! "I tried shoeing her away but she kept teasing me, so I just let her have her little fun. Hahaha!!

"I'm gonna miss you mom..."  i kiss her cheeks

"Me too dear!!" she kisses me back and comes near my ears.  And guess what she asked for!!

"When shall i expect my grandchild? Make sure you give me loads of them. " she whispers the words in my ears.

" MOM!!!! I'm still 18 for heaven sake!!! "

Hearing her, my eyes almost popped out. I've never had that in my mind from the day i married him. Well i don't think both of us had ever thought about having a kid together.

"Hahaha I know dear!! But i just can't wait to be the youngest grandmom!!"  she clasped her hands and went into her own world of imagination. I just couldn't stop rolling my eyes at her statement. When did i even say that 'i would think about having kids with Drake very soon'. 

"Bye mom!! " i waved my hand at her and left the place. I know if i stand any minute longer., she might make me go dizzy,so i bid her my goodbye.

" Bye Ana!! Bring Drake along with you when you are here, the next time. " she calls out to me. Well,the last sentence came out more as an order.
