52. A Crush On My Husband

15 Days later...

DRAKE'S POV:

"Leo, place your legs on the pedal if you want to move the bicycle forward. I'm not pushing. " i threw my hands in the air to let him know that i wasn't going to help him anymore.

He pouted sadly at me.

" Argh.. Leo, you have to press the pedal hard, son. Come on. You can do it. You are a strong boy right? " his eyes brightened up and he nodded at my question." Good boy!! Now push. Go on" i nudged a little to let him understand that he was ready to go.

While he began to move forward, Anabelle appeared from her bedroom.

"Baby, Kobu is running across the road. Go get him. Quick"

As soon as Anabelle spoke, Leo went running to catch his dog, Kobu, leaving Anabelle and myself all alone.

I sighed and turned to head outside.

"What's wrong with you?  You haven't even looked at me ever since you have been living here. " she came forward to stop me from taking another step away from her.

" Look, i don't even want to see your face. Just leave." i turned away.

"But isn't this too long? You have been living with us for how long.. 15 days? and still you don't feel like talking to me... "

" I've been putting up with all your nonsense only for my son. No matter how long i live here, don't even have those ideas of me talking to you. " i spat at her.

She gave away a smile which seemed like a sarcastic one.

" Anyways, i came to tell you that I'm leaving to England for something important. " she looked away while letting me know.

" What? Are you taking Leo away from me?" i was startled at her statement.

"No.. He will be with you. Only I'm going.. "

Thank God!! As long as Leo is with me, I don't give a fuck about you.

"Oh.. How long will you be gone?"  I asked her casually as she was expecting me to reply something. Though i wasn't interested in knowing how long she would be gone,she stood in front of me,leaving me with no other choice but continue the conversation.

"Probably a week."

"Fine." i said firmly and left without looking at her back.

"Someone talk, dammit!! " Jack seemed frustrated at the moment.

Jack, Aura and myself were at the beach along with Leo who was playing in the water nearby, in the evening. Anabelle left to England in the afternoon which made it easier for me to bring Leo along with me to meet Jack and Aura.

I inhaled the beach waves scent.
"How is Ana? "

I turned towards Aura waiting for her to reply. But she had a very firm look on her face.

"She is fine."

That's all she replied and turned to look over at Leo who was now trying to build a sand castle.

"Aura, not the time to test me. How is she doing? I haven't got the chance to meet her these 15 days!!"

"Drake,she is fine in front of me. The first day i met her after that night's incident, she asked me to never talk about anything to do with you. I respected her words and I've tried my best to cheer her up since then."

Aura's words made me realise that Ana moved on. She has forgotten me completely because of that faggot, Anushk along with her who has now taken up my job of keeping Ana away from worries.

Thinking more about it made me shiver in anger.

"What's up man? Why do you feel uncomfortable? " Jack walked towards me after he left Leo to play by himself for a while.

"Cause he is annoyed that Ana has seemed to move on from him." Aura said that looking right into my eyes which i spoilt it by turning away.

"Drake, you don't have any right on being annoyed about Ana!! You were given a choice between Leo or Ana and you chose Leo. And now that you have chosen, you can't turn back cause Leo is still a baby and now that he has seen you. He would never like to loose his dad ever. Better give your best on what you chose." She spoke the reality which i couldn't deny.  "And moreover I'm happy and glad that Ana has moved on from you. You.."  she pointed her fingers at me. ".. You better don't ruin it else you will wake up in hell the next time you wake up from your sleep." 
With that she walked towards the food truck with Leo running behind her.

"Gosh bro!! Pity the guy who marries her. She will definitely give him a tough time though. " Jack seemed flushed while i still hadn't blinked my eyes yet.

We spent the night at Jack's place. Aura made the dinner which Leo loved and later Aura put Leo to sleep.

Jack and myself were boozing on the couch when Aura joined in.

Jack helped Aura with her dink while i was in an empty deep thought.

"Do you think Ana will ever forgive Drake?" Jack asked Aura. The mention of her name was enough to bring me back to reality.

"She may not." she said calmly while drinking her coke.

A sudden gush of anger made me red.

"Shut up,Aura!! Enough. Don't ever bring up anything about this in front of me!!" i shouted at both of them.

"Why shouldn't we?" Aura had the nerve to question me. "People say Truth hurts. But in your case,  the Impossible hurts even more , doesn't it?"

Her words made me halt and think.

What did she just say? So there is a chance for Ana to forgive me..?

I looked at her steadily.

"Have you ever tried to reach out to her?!!!

"I did...." Her question made me want to tell her the truth that i did make an effort to go and explain her but she was the one who is moving on and letting her bestfriend to enter her life. But i decided not to.I didn't want to let Aura know about it.Let her know herself.

"Yeah,asking me about her today will do no good. She is your fucking wife!!Why do you ask me about her?!!If you want to know about how she is doing,then you should move your ass and find out yourself!!!!"

"Aura ,he di-" Jack tried to defend me.

"You there!!"Aura interrupted him."Don't ever try to prove everything that your friend does is right!!I'll kill you." 

With that she walked out of the house swiftly and silence spread.

"Didn't it feel like a storm just hit us?" Jack gulped hard and returned back to boozing.

"Just don't explain about it to Aura." i advised him never to reveal about it and returned back to thinking.

I wasn't active on Wattpad cause i was a bit busy.
So to get back here, it took me some time. I'm glad that many hadn't forgotten this story XD
