53. A Crush On My Husband

ANASTASIA'S POV :

" Ready? " i asked.

" Yea!!!" i heard him shout in excitement.

"You're having your breakfast. It's only then I'm letting you go with Ana. " Lucus's mother,Emily yells back.                (Pc: Author's note- If you don't remember, refer chapter 30)

I giggle and help him have his breakfast.

Once he was done,i took him out. Ever since I was left alone, Lucus has always given me company. Lucus parents were divorced even before he was born. Since then his mother has always been working.

These 15 days of being all by myself wouldn't have happened without Lucus.

"Ana, i want the carrrr!! " he runs towards the hot wheels race cars.

We were right now at target.

"Wait Lucai!!Boy, you run so fast!! "

I took him shopping just to keep myself busy and moreover Lucai has always been asking for new toys ,so thought of taking him out.

Later that evening , we went to Bluebird Ice cream. This place is one of my favorite cause they provide the best home-made ice cream ever. Since i bring Lucai often, even he has been addicted to this place a lot.

He chose chocolate pudding ice cream as usual and i took salted caramel icecream.

"So how is it Lucai?"

"Yum Yum Yummy!!!"

"Hahaha!!"

"Where is Drake ,Ana? I want to play football with him!!"

His question made me still.

"Anaaaa!!" he shook my hand to bring me back to senses.

"Huh?Yeah!!He-He has gone to meet his friend in England.He will come back.." as i kept assuring him, it just brought chills down my spine.

After a day long outing with Lucai,i drove back to the apartment.Gracie was kind enough to lend me her car so i could have my weekend spent effectively.Once i parked the car in the basement,i turned to look back at Lucai sleeping peacefully in the back seat.He looked so adorable.Given a chance,i would just watch him sleep the entire night.

I carefully carried him up the staircase.He wrapped his tiny little arms around my neck and began to cuddle.Once i reached his apartment,i knocked the door softly making sure not to wake him up. He stirred but soon i began to pat which made him go back to sleep.

The door was opened by their maid.

"Hey!! Where is Emily?"

"Hi. She has gone out with her date."

Hearing that made me smile. Lucas's mother,Emily has always been hesitant on showing her feelings to her friend,Harry who in fact had asked her on date, twice this month.Finally she gave in and decided to give him a chance tonight.

"Ana.." Their maid, Olivia reached out to take Lucai from me.

"No...no. It's fine.I'll carry him." Olivia smiled and let me in.

I went inside his bedroom which now seemed to be cleaned up with all his toys neatly arranged in the shelves and cupboard.

I placed him slowly on the bed and covered him with his blanket,planted a kiss on his forehead before leaving the room. I kept his new toys beside the bed shelf so he could notice the next morning.

"Isn't he the cutest kid?" Olivia asked from the entrance of his room, while looking at him adorably.

"Sure he is." I looked back at him before leaving the room who was cuddling with one of his pillows.
