56. A Crush On My Husband

ANASTASIA'S POV:

"What the fuck is going on here?! Where is my son?!! " Drake began to yell looking at Jack and Aura cuddled up while i remained speechless.

Deep down i realised, there was something going on in Aura's life but never thought it'd be Jack.

"You guys fight worst than cats and dogs and look what we caught them doing Ana! " he said while Jack and Aura began shuffling and getting up to stand away from each other with a huge void between them.

Aura began to fix her hair and seemed flustered cause of being caught red hand while i to laugh silently at her.
" Shut up Ana!! " she hissed and stood beside me.

"What's up Drake? Your son is sleeping in that room." he pointed at the room which was just adjacent to the living room. "So it's best if we keep our voices down."  he tried to change the topic and Drake began to give him a straight face at him.

"Daddy?" Leo walked out rubbing his eyes with his tiny little hand and had a dinosaur doll in his other hand.

"Leo!!" Drake immediately looked at him and reached out to him. Seeing his father, Leo was so happy.He ran towards Drake and held onto him.

"Hey kid!!" Jack reached out to him and ruffled his black hair which seemed to have come down from his father.

Once he was wide awake,he noticed me. I smiled gently and he walked upto me.

"Who are you..?" he looked at me curiously. 

"I..I'm Anastasia. I'm your father's ...friend." i introduced myself completely hiding the fact I was his step-mother. "And who is this cute boy infront of me?" i asked him to which he giggled adorably.

"Leoo!!" He smiled .

"Today you,Ana and myself are going to have some fun!!Ready?"

"Yayyy daddy!!" he began jumping and suddenly looked at Jack and Aura. "What about Aunt Aura and Uncle Jack?"

"I guess Aunt Aura and Uncle Jack have much more important work to do Leo!!" Drake eyed them to which Aura and Jack looked at each other and smiled secretly.

In less than two hours,the three of us were in a huge kids park where we laid out a picnic towel. It was like a picnic day.I had prepared grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken club sandwiches.

Drake and Lucas began chasing each other.I sat down to arrange and make sure everything is prepared so when the two are done playing ,they can come over and  have some food.

"Daddy you are running fast.. " Lucas pouted sadly and panted infront of me trying to catch his breath.

I passed his bottle of water.
" Your daddy isn't really good at running, you know. You can catch him. " i winked at him.

" You think so? " his eyes shined. " Will you help me catch him? Please.."

It was so hard to say a no to him.

"Yeah sure. " i got up.

Drake noticed me standing and holding Lucas hands.  His eyes shined exactly like his son's. I raised my brows and gave him the you-are-so-caught look. He pulled his lips in and winked at  me.

" Ready Leo?" i whispered at him while i still had my eyes on my target.

"Yes."

I loosened my grip on Leo hands.

"Go!! "

Leo set in motion from the right, towards Drake and i ran from the left towards him.

Drake began moving to the left which left me having a greater chance of catching him. I began running behind him with Leo following me from far.
