30. A Crush On My Husband

ISSA ANUSHK POV:

"Where is she, Gracie?" My eyes look around desperately to meet hers but she is no where to be found.

"Anush..you gotta be patient, she will be here." I hear Grace from behind a table.

"Oh, oh look Aura is here!!" I became restless looking at Aura and signal her to come towards us.

"Good Morning Aura. Where is Ana?"

"Good Morning um..sir.."

"Call me Anush. Where is Ana??!"

"Eh..okay but I dunno where she is..." She looked clueless.

"Grace,grab my keys."

At the same time, my mobile blinks with a notification. It was from Ana

"Issa I can't make it today. I'm sorry.
Not well:("

Without wasting any more second, I call her.

"Hey..." Hearing her sweet voice felt like a cool breeze hitting me.

"Hey...is everything okay? Shall I come over??" I was upset and moreover I desperately wanted to see her. But to my dismay she said..

"Its okay, I'm fine. I just need a little time alone. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Oh...hmm..fine,Ana. Take care. Call me if you need anything."

"Yea sure, Issa." I could hear her smile from the other end but I badly wanted to see her in person..

"What's up Anush? Is she fine?" Gracie asks me while Aura stood beside her silently without giving away any kinda emotions when I ended my conversation with Ana.

"No, nothing. Ana isn't feeling well today. She will join us tomorrow." I say it with a tight smile and take leave from both the ladies standing infront of me.

GRACE POV:

  "No, nothing. Ana isn't feeling well today. She will join us tomorrow." Anush gives away his disappointed look and walks away.

Looking at him like that always breaks my heart.

"Umm...Gracie?" i hear Aura's voice which seemed curious. Immediately I shake my mind off and turn towards her to give my fake timid smile.

 Though she never asked anything,her dominant facial expression gave away a meaningful questionable look which i wasn't able to avoid.

"Yeah?" I ask her like i didn't know what she was asking for.

But Aura doesn't speak a word, she gives me a smile and takes my hands in her and pressed a little,trying to say something.With just one look...she walks away to the kitchen ,leaving me with loads of doubts in my head.

ANASTASIA'S POV:

"Yeah sure,Issa." I smile at his concern for me but right now I'm totally upset with Aura and I don't wish to see anyone after Drake revealed everything to me. 

I'm well aware that today is Aura's first day at Renaissance but I don't think i gotta be her companion anymore. I'm unsure of my importance in her life as she is in mine.If I was a person who she really considered and cared for, she would have definitely told everything about my own husband,but she never did?  I'm so pissed and annoyed with her. How could she do that to me? She never felt the need that i had to know about Drake. I thought we both were more than cousins. Aura has always been my homie who knew everything about the happenings in my life and I knew everything that happened in her life. Well,thats what I had been thinking all this while....
