DRAKE'S POV :
I walked towards the place where the silhouette still stood for me to approach.
When she knew i was approaching towards her, she showed herself from the dark.
She came out from the darkness like a lady who had been given another chance to live on this planet. Looking at her, made me go speechless. She was wearing a grey sweater shirt with a matching skirt and a thigh high socks to go along with her outfit and ankle boots to finish her look. Though her dressing sense hadn't reduced a bit, she lacked the glow on her face which was once upon a time 'on point'.
When i was back to reality, i noticed that Anabelle was taking a good look at me. She was still in her own thoughts but once when i cleared my throat, she came back to her senses. Until then, there was only silence running between us.
She climbed down the rock to stand a few distance away from me. At first she smiled pleasantly but very soon the smile turned out to be a wicked smirk.
" I knew you would come back for me... " she said in her most husky voice possible or probably it was the cold weather making her voice sound like that.
I scoffed back.
"Why are you here?" i asked her getting so irritated with her wicked smile on her face.
"For you. " she shrugged her shoulders like its nothing big.
"What?!" i scowled at her in anger to which she just shrugged her shoulders casually.
"Why did you ask me to meet you here? Make it quick, I need to leave. " i told with my face turned away from hers.
"Eh.. to take you back."
"Anabelle!!! " her every reply made me exasperated.
" I'm already married. It's - "
" I know you are married to a kiddo who owns my name. No wonder you are calling me 'Anabelle' " i gave her a disgusting look.
" Look i don't have anything to talk about or explain , to you. " i tried hard not to argue with her.
" Really? You don't have anything to talk to me or even ask about what happened all these years?" she tilted her head to look into my eyes.
"No. "
I could see her brows raised.
I sighed in frustration.
"Whatever we had was all in the past. Its just a history which is not even worth to be remembered." i spat the words out without a pause.
"Aura gave me a few details on why you left me.... Well, i don't really want to know anything more. I have had enough. Now, i have someone else whom i love and care about and i want to spend the rest of my life with her. So just stop. Stop everything. You go in your own way and I, mine. "She inhaled while i began to turn back and walk.
"Stop." she halted me.
" Now that you saying that you know everything cause of Aura, I'm guessing i don't have much to say. In Fact Aura has reduced my speech. Let me just end it by saying that I've come back to take what is rightfully mine. " she winked at me which had a hint of tease in it."Well you don't have the ownership anymore. Forget it. And go come back to where ever you came from." at this point, i felt like i was loosing my cool.
"I don't want to see you anymore in my life, Anabelle!!" i threw my face away to let her know that i had enough of her.
Seeing her made me feel so sorry for myself. I had wasted a good couple of years over her. She was never worth my tears.
"Look I'm not a fool that would easily accept and go away. I have come all the way from my place to take you back. "
Her words made me laugh.
"You being so silly!!" i threw my hands in the air to stress her stupidness."Just leave Belle. It's all over. "
Saying that i turn to head back.
"So you really don't want to see me anymore?"
I could hear her while i walk away slowly, on the green patched stones.
"Yes. Never. " i reply without looking back.
" Not even your son...?"
