ANASTASIA'S POV:"You think?" I laughed sarcastically. "Why? You think I had no right to know about my own husband's past.!!!" I shout out at Aura.
"What??!" I heard Issa and Grace gasp but I never felt like turning to them to ask the reason why they were shocked or surprised to such an extent.
"I wanted you to know everything from the very person you were enlightened about the whole past." Aura stressed each and every word possible."You had the right to know from him,not me Ana" Her voice softened slowly and its then I realised what she was trying to say.
Aura wanted Drake to open up to me rather than she telling me everything. Had she told me about it, then probably I would have ended up hating Drake for not revealing it to me,himself. Obviously I wouldn't have liked to know about my husband's past from a third person. Why couldn't that strike me? Since he,himself has told me everything about his past, I've understood and have taken him the way he is without finding any faults in him. That's what Aura wanted!! She wanted her sister to accept and love her bestfriend without bringing in his faults and past as obstacles.
The entire surrounding seemed so silent. None of us spoke. I was looking into Aura's eyes trying to go through what Aura tried to mean.
All of sudden, I heard someone clearing their throat. It was Gracie. That's when I realised, I had two more people with me, Gracie and Issa.
The next thing that happened was, everyone getting inside Issa's car. Well,yeah..no one spoke, we silently got into his car. Gracie didn't know where to sit,so she let me choose the place I wished to have. I really didn't patch up with Aura yet but the thing is I just left the scene, hanging. I don't know if I should be annoyed with her cause she being more than a sister to me, chose to hide, something I had to know for so long or if I should be happy that she totally waited for Drake to spill out everything to me. I just didn't know. So I decided to sit beside Issa in the front, letting Gracie sit next to Aura.
ISSA ANUSHK POV:
"Why? You think I had no right to know about my own husband's past.!!!" Annie's words made me freeze in my place.
The very next minute, I was sucked into state of emptiness. Everything around me was blanked out. I was totally outta words. I could see the sisters arguing but never made an effort to listen to them.
Suddenly I felt a warm hand tugging into mine. I knew who it was. The very next second, I felt like breaking down. Gracie held onto me and her eyes kept searching mine, but I never gave in. I stood there as still as a stone.
When all of a sudden, the entire place was muted, Gracie cleared her throat, letting everyone to return back to their senses.
Immediately I made my way inside my car. At this moment, I didn't wish to see Ana. I wanted Gracie to sit beside me but she let Ana to take her seat.
With Anie beside me, I tried best not to break down. I was so angry. My hands began to tremble and shiver. To make sure Ana doesn't notice, I clutched the steering wheel tightly and laid my eyes only on the road.
When everyone settled in, I took off. Though the car had 4 people inside, The ride was a very quiet one. It wasn't a comfortable silence. I could feel the tension building up. I had beads of sweat all over my forehead. With Ana beside me, I felt so suffocated. I couldn't breathe properly.
