17. A Crush On My Husband

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" He gave a smile which was funnily-dark. Even my smile had the same weird evilness in them.

"Ooooooh yesss..." I winked at him and took off.

He was behind me. He is nearing me. I see the swing.... Please for this one little time, let me be first.... Oh yes... Ana you're almost there....oh yes, baby you are!! And finally.... I caught the swing!!!! Yayyy!!

"Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! I won!! I'm first!! I'm first!!" I monkey-danced around the swing while Issa bent down to keep his hands on his knees and began to pant. When I say monkey-dance, its no form of dance. Lol. Whatever moves I do on my own is close to the way a monkey jumps so,monkey-dance. Lol.

Issa raised his head to look at me with so much of overflowing love in his eyes. He was amused that I hadn't lost my kiddish acts yet. I think I was definitely entertaining him with my stupid dance. I noticed him looking at me in awe. I stopped my crazy moves with my hands on my hips.

"What?" I raised my brows at him and asked.

He smiled and headed towards me.

"You are the same old silly girl...Annie!!" He messed my neatly combed hair.

"Now come on, have a seat." He tapped on the swing, asking me to sit on it.

I sat on the swing and held the side chains tightly. I turned to look at him to give him an 'I'm ready' look. He nodded at me and then he pushed.
The swing flew along with me upto the skies.

"Ooooooooohhhh!!! Its so awesome... Issa!" I shout as loud as possible for him to hear.

"I know!! I know!!" He laughs at my body language from behind and pushes me harder.

The swift wind hits my face, making my already messy hair,messier. It felt like we were back to being kids again,running around and playing.

We played a little longer, ignoring our ages and then headed out to the garden.

"Annie...come in!! Have dinner and then I'll drop you home.!!" He tried pulling me into his house.

I hesitated. All this while, everything went really smoothly. I didn't wanted to spoil it by seeing him, Joseph.

"No Issa..umm....I already had my dinner. And moreover I'm getting late. I'll come back home some other time." I didn't give away the actual reason for denying his invite to his huge mansion but I hope he believed what I said.

"Oh.." He kinda thought for a few seconds. "Okay fine." He smiled at me. Its only then I let out my breath. I didn't know I was holding it all this while. Phew...

He then escorted me to his car. He sat beside me, in the driver's seat and took off. The ride was so smooth. From the start of our ride, I kept smiling while looking out through the window. My cheeks kept hurting, but I didn't stop that smile from fading away from my face.

I thanked God constantly for making sure I land myself at that official party. I know I had to regret it. But all those insults and embarrassments at the party were indeed worth it. I was finally back with my best friend. That's more important than anything else.
I could see from the corner of my eyes that even Issa was having a huge smile like mine on his face. It looked like we were just cherishing our moment in our own little way,in silence.

"So where's your house Annie?" He asked me, keeping his eyes on the road.

Damn. Whose house do I go to? I definitely don't wanna go to the house where my so called husband lives!! Its cause of him I was left on my own at that crappy place. Violet was more important to him than me. I hate him. If not I hadn't met Issa, I had probably be weeping and wailing, somewhere at a corner of an ignored room.

I'm not gonna go to Aura's place. She will definitely murder him if I go to her place and explain everything. She might even end up killing me in case she looses her temper. I don't wanna create a scene.

"Turn left, go straight and then take second right." I directed him.

DRAKE'S POV :

I bang open the door not caring to knock. I lost my manners completely right now.

"Where is she???"

Aura popped her head out from the kitchen in complete shock.

"Where the hell is she???!!!!!!" I roared at her.
